Buenas tardes a toda la comunidad de Hive. Hoy les quiero contar sobre la ciudad donde vivo. Ramos mejia, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Nací y crecí en esta linda ciudad, mi casa estaba ubicada sobre una avenida que era de tierra que con el tiempo fué asfaltada.
Fueron los más hermosos recuerdos de mi infancia, jugando a la rayuela, la escondida, etc. Cuántas veces nos reímos al caer en las zanjas que se formaban en lo que hoy es el cordón. No existia la tecnología pero con pocas cosas nos armabamos un juego, alguno tenia el cerebro mágico; un juego de mesa que te hacia preguntas y si respondias bien se encendia una luz, todo se compartía.
Ramos Mejía cuenta con una gran cantidad de comercios. Hay de todo, desde farmacias, supermercados, casas para tomar café, té, o lo que se les ocurra, por ejemplo algún rico jugo natural acompañado de alguna torta o facturas. Podemos encontrar también heladerías, entre ellas una que frecuentamos donde se sirve un muy buen helado.
Good afternoon to all the Hive community. Today I want to tell you about the city where I live. Ramos Mejia, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was born and grew up in this beautiful city, my house was located on a dirt avenue that was eventually paved.
Those were the most beautiful memories of my childhood, playing hopscotch, hide-and-seek, etc. How many times we laughed when we fell into the ditches that were formed in what today is the cordon. There was no technology, but with a few things we would make a game, someone had a magic brain; a board game that would ask you questions and if you answered correctly a light would come on, everything was shared.
Ramos Mejía has a large number of stores. There is everything from pharmacies, supermarkets, houses to drink coffee, tea, or whatever you can think of, for example some delicious natural juice accompanied by some cake or pastries. We can also find ice cream parlors, including one that we frequent where they serve a very good ice cream.
Todos los días cuando cae la noche se cierran algunas cuadras y todo se llena de luz. La gente camina buscando algún lugar para cenar y se puede notar que colocan mesas y sillas en la vereda, y también en la calle que fue cortada previamente al tránsito. La gente hace fila para comer en los restaurantes donde sirven comida mexicana, italiana, árabe, y por supuesto la nacional.
Every day when night falls, some blocks are closed and everything is filled with light. People walk around looking for a place to have dinner and you can notice that tables and chairs are placed on the sidewalk, and also on the street that was previously closed to traffic. People line up to eat in the restaurants serving Mexican, Italian, Arabian, and of course national food.
Entre ellas se destacan por ser un poco más económicas pero sin perder su calidad las hamburgueserías, las pizzerias, y por supuesto los panqueques de Carlitos, muy conocidos por nosotros ya que posee varios locales, entre ellos uno en la Costa Atlántica; son exquisitos tanto dulces como salados. También sirven Hamburguesas, papas, panchos, y comida para celiacos. Existen casas de cambio, bancos, y demás.
Para divertirse nada mejor que el bingo de Ramos Mejía, éste cuenta con diferentes salas de bingo, ruletas, y máquinas tragamonedas. También cuenta con servicio de cafetería y salón vip. Hace unos años atrás había un comedor en la sala de bingo y tenían un excelente servicio.
Un momento divertido es cuando hay algún evento, festejan los aniversarios del bingo, fechas importantes como el día de la madre o del padre, y por supuesto la navidad y año nuevo, donde se sirven comidas y tragos gratis, todo esto con un artista que canta y la gente baila. Es hermoso compartir un rato alegre en ese lugar.
No me quiero olvidar de la zona de las discotecas. La avenida Gaona cuenta con una gran cantidad de lugares bailables. Uno de los más destacados es Pinar de Rocha. Esta discoteca cuenta con tres pistas bailables también reservadas para tener más intimidad. Es un lugar realmente inmenso.
Among them, hamburger restaurants, pizzerias, and of course Carlitos' pancakes stand out for being a little cheaper but without losing their quality. Carlitos' pancakes are very well known by us since he has several stores, including one on the Atlantic Coast; they are delicious both sweet and savory. They also serve hamburgers, fries, panchos, and food for celiacs. There are exchange houses, banks, and others.
For fun nothing better than the bingo of Ramos Mejía, it has different bingo halls, roulettes, and slot machines. It also has a cafeteria and VIP lounge. A few years ago there was a dining room in the bingo hall and they had an excellent service.
A fun time is when there is an event, they celebrate bingo anniversaries, important dates like Mother's or Father's Day, and of course Christmas and New Year's Day, where they serve free food and drinks, all this with an artist singing and people dancing. It is beautiful to share a joyful time in that place.
I don't want to forget the discotheque area. Gaona Avenue has a large number of dancing places. One of the most outstanding is Pinar de Rocha. This disco has three dance floors also reserved for more intimacy. It is a really huge place.
Estos son algunos de los lugares de mi querida ciudad de Ramos Mejía. Estoy orgullosa de vivir en este lugar que tiene lugares tan lindos y tan buena gente. Espero les guste y que alguna vez tengan la oportunidad de conocer.
These are some of the places in my beloved city of Ramos Mejía. I am proud to live in this place that has such nice places and such good people. I hope you like them and that you have the opportunity to visit them sometime.
