El 5 de agosto estuve de cumpleaños y aunque la fecha quedó super atrapada en medio del desastre del país, la disfruté enfocandome en agradecer por poder celebrar mi vida y estar rodeada de quienes quiero, ya que otros muchos no pueden.
Ese día tuve algunos regalitos que les mostré por aquí de la gente que quiero, pero, lo que nunca esperé fue un regalo de cumpleaños que me llegó esta semana.
No sé si algunos recordaran que uno de los primeros regalos que me hice con mis HBDs ahorrados en la plataforma, fue un estetoscopio muy bonito de color rose gold con manguera rosada clara, que había querido desde hacía mucho tiempo, incluso desde que estudiaba en la universidad 🥺, lo pueden ver Aqui.
Pues, la verdad es hermoso, lo disfruté demasiado, pero lamentablemente entendí que tener un material de trabajo de ese color tan claro es un desastre cuando trabajas todo el día con lapiceros y otras cosas que manchan facilmente como papel de carbol, yodo, productos de limpieza, etc, que manchan toda la manguera cuyo material es de goma.
Lamentablemente esa goma no se puede limpiar y, al ser un color tan claro, se notaba de inmediato, incluso en la actualidad se ve un poco descuidada o sucia después de 3 años 😔.
Me dio mucha tristeza 💔, porque tal vez fui un poco descuidada con él, pero es que es algo con lo que trabajo a diario, pienso que realmente por mucho que pueda cuidarlo, es complicado estar tan al pendiente de él, al menos para una persona como yo, tal vez otros si serían más cuidadosos.
El asunto es que le había contado esta triste historia a un amigo muy querido hace un tiempo y le había dicho que me iba a comprar uno nuevo o, al menos, comprar la manguera, ya que son piezas que se venden por separado, era un deseo (como muchos que tengo por ahí guardado) para el futuro, porque no era algo que necesitara de inmediato y es bastante costoso.
Lo hablamos el año pasado porque él sabe mucho de materiales y equipos médicos y le estaba pidiendo opiniones sobre donde comprarlo. Pues, jamás pensé que mi amigo se acordaría de eso, y esta semana me dijo que pasara buscando por la paquetería un regalo que me había enviado.
Resulta ¡que me regaló el estetoscopio del que habíamos hablado! 🥹 Es ese que les muestro en las fotos con manguera color frambuesa, ojivas color dorado y campana de color tornasol. ¡Sí! Si pensaron que no podía haber uno más bonito que el que me compré hace más de 2 años, resulta que ¡sí hay! ¡es este! 😍
Esa vez que estaba investigando me gustó este porque es muy diferente a los comunes que vemos por ahí en las consultas, de un color femenino, pero es oscuro y ya entendí que definitivamente tener uno de colores claros no es muy ventajoso, aunque sea mi color favorito, además tiene ojivas hermosas doradas y una campana que es de multiples colores a la luz 🤩.
Yo sé que tal vez ustedes no entiendan mi grado de felicidad con este aparato, los entiendo porque si fuera un nintendo o algo así sería más evidente, pero ¡créanme! que para la mayoría de los médicos este es uno de los instrumentos más importantes y queridos, porque básicamente se convierten en nuestros hijos y el hecho de que pueda parecerse tanto a mi ¡Me encanta! 😍
No me queda más que agradecerle a mi amigo por este super regalo, decirle que le daré la mejor de las utilidades y lo cuidaré más ¡ah, por cierto! me regaló, además, un estuche especial para guardarlo y asegurarme de que no se manche, ni se ralle que, además, se puede trasladar como un bolsito y guardar las cosas más importantes que uso en la consulta ¿Verdad que está hermoso? 🥰 Ustedes ¿qué dicen?, ¿Creen que se parece a mí?, por casualidad ¿Han notado que algunos doctores, como yo, no usan el clásico estetoscopio negro?

On August 5th I had a birthday and although the date got super caught in the middle of the country's disaster, I enjoyed it focusing on being grateful for being able to celebrate my life and be surrounded by those I love, since many others can't. I had a few gifts that I showed you around here from people I love.
That day I had some little gifts that I showed you around here from the people I love, but, what I never expected was a birthday gift that came to me this week.
I don't know if some of you remember that one of the first gifts I got myself with my HBDs saved on the platform, was a very nice rose gold stethoscope with light pink hose, which I had wanted for a long time, even since I was studying in college 🥺, you can see it here.
Well, the truth is beautiful, I enjoyed it too much, but unfortunately I understood that having a working material of that light color is a disaster when you work all day with pens and other things that stain easily as carbol paper, iodine, cleaning products, etc, which stain all the hose whose material is rubber.
Unfortunately that rubber can't be cleaned and being such a light color, it was immediately noticeable, even nowadays it looks a bit neglected or dirty after 3 years 😔.
It made me very sad 💔, because maybe I was a little careless with it, but it is that it is something I work with daily, I think that really as much as I can take care of it, it is complicated to be so attentive to it, at least for a person like me, maybe others if they would be more careful.
The thing is that I had told this sad story to a very dear friend some time ago and I had told him that I was going to buy a new one or, at least, buy the hose, since they are parts that are sold separately, it was a wish (like many I have around saved) for the future, because it was not something I needed immediately and it is quite expensive.
We talked about it last year because he knows a lot about medical materials and equipment and I was asking him for opinions on where to buy it. Well, I never thought my friend would remember that, and this week he told me to stop by the package store looking for a gift he had sent me.
It turns out that he gave me the stethoscope we were talking about! 🥹 It's the one I'm showing you in the pictures with raspberry-colored hose, gold-colored eyepieces and litmus-colored bell. Yes! If you thought there couldn't be a nicer one than the one I bought more than 2 years ago, it turns out that there is! it's this one! 😍
That time I was researching I liked this one because it's very different from the common ones we see out there in consultations, in a feminine color, but it's dark and I already understood that definitely having a light colored one is not very advantageous, even if it's my favorite color, plus it has beautiful golden warheads and a bell that is multi-colored in the light 🤩.
I know you may not understand my degree of happiness with this device, I understand you because if it was a nintendo or something like that it would be more obvious, but believe me! that for most doctors this is one of the most important and beloved instruments, because they basically become our children and the fact that it can look so much like me I love it! 😍
I just have to thank my friend for this super gift, tell him that I will give it the best of utilities and I will take more care of it, oh, by the way! he also gave me a special case to keep it and make sure it doesn't get stained or scratched, it can also be carried like a bag and keep the most important things I use in the office, isn't it beautiful 🥰 What do you say?
