It's my second month since starting bullet journaling and it works well for me. I am able to organize tasks well and I have used it everyday. Although I still have problems with prioritizing tasks lol but I don't get lost and overwhelmed now so it is really a good improvement for me.
February is already here and I wanted something red for my theme. Red is a very striking color and it symbolizes energy and passion. Well, aside from that, there's also Valentine's day for this month lol.
I wanted something roses-themed originally since I have a long tape with roses design but I also wanted to add something black too. Then I have thought of having that gothic red and black theme. :P
It starts with the February cover. I have these skeleton washi tape which was also a very convenient addition to the spread. I found a gothic theme font on Adobe and copied that so the February text was done by hand. :P The rest were printed tho.
Gothic affirmation for the Gothic theme. :P
Then the overview of the month. The pattern on top and bottom was from Freepik and I just printed it on a matte sticker paper. The sticker paper was really good as you can see, the print is very vibrant!
Then I still have the habit tracker and brain dump similar to the previous month. I didn't use them that much hahah but it is still a nice addition and I will try to develop those habits again. It's just a lot of things going on right now and I have hyperfixation on some other things atm lol.
Then the start of the weekly spreads. I did the same layout with my January BuJo layout since it is easier for familiarity and stuff.
I used fine liners to fill in the "feb" text because I was afraid of using some markers there cos I wasn't sure if they would bleed through the previous page.
I made a mistake in week 1. I thought there were 7 days so I had the whole spread for those but after making the layout for the left page, I realized I have nothing else to put on the right one. So I just decided to put something else like goals, ideas, and wishlist for the whole month. The wishlist is basically a "to buy" section since I always forget to buy important things when I'm outside only to realize it when I get home so writing them down would make it easier for me to remember. I can glance at this section before going out. :D
Those gothic windows and stuff were downloaded from Etsy and others were from Pinterest and printed on a transparent vinyl. I'd never thought I'd use the transparent vinyl sheets honestly, until I realized how useful they are for nice stickers that would look awful with white borders. :D
For the last page, I also added the What worked well and What needs improvement sections although they are smaller than the previous month. :P
I really love the outcome and it was so fun sticking those gothic illustrations on the pages. Red and black just looks so good together. :D
