What I didn't understand is, why Google restore didn't recover my photos and videos? Surely I hadn't created a backup (big mistake) even though I thought I had set it to do it automatically...
El hecho es que perdí todo mi contenido, las fotografías personales, fotografías con mi pareja, videos y material que pensaba utilizar para publicaciones futuras, todo lo perdí sin manera de poder recuperarlo. En mi PC solo tengo unos vídeos y fotos de una actividad que realicé el año pasado, que oportunamente respaldé manualmente, debido al poco espacio que tenía en mi teléfono en ese momento, pero más allá de eso, todo lo demás lo perdí. 😓
The fact is that I lost all my content, personal photos, photos with my partner, videos and material that I planned to use for future publications, all lost with no way of recovering it. On my PC I only have a few videos and photos of an activity I did last year, which I conveniently backed up manually, due to the little space I had on my phone at the time, but beyond that, everything else I lost 😓.

Con pocos ánimos le escribí a mi pareja y le conté lo que pasó, ya faltaba poco para amanecer, sabía que todavía no me iba a responder, así que no tuve más opción que descansar un rato y dejar que mi mente se liberara un poco de mis pensamientos por lo acontecido.
With little encouragement I wrote to my partner and told him what happened, it was not long before dawn, I knew he was still not going to answer me, so I had no choice but to rest for a while and let my mind free a little of my thoughts about what had happened.

En el transcurrir de la mañana me comuniqué con mi pareja, ella quedó también sorprendida y sin palabras, me dió algunas opciones que podía intentar para tratar de recuperar las fotos y videos, pero ya cualquier paso o método lo había realizado en la madrugada, sin embargo decidí investigar un poco más, le pregunté a mis amigos cercanos y familiares si conocían de algún método, pero seguí con los mismos resultados, sin poder recuperar algún archivo.
In the course of the morning I communicated with my partner, she was also surprised and speechless, she gave me some options that I could try to try to recover the photos and videos, but any step or method had already been done in the morning, however I decided to investigate a little more, I asked my close friends and family if they knew of any method, but I continued with the same results, without being able to recover any file.

En ese punto solo quería estar con mi pareja y distraerme, así que le dije para que viniera a mi casa el día siguiente, ella me confirmó y me dijo que se le había ocurrido una idea para ayudarme con una nueva publicación.
Entonces ella llegó el siguiente día y me mostró que capturó algunas fotos para mí, para tener algo que publicar, me alegró y gustó mucho el gesto que tuvo conmigo. 🙏🏻❤️
At that point I just wanted to be with my partner and distract myself, so I told her to come to my house the next day, she confirmed and told me that she had come up with an idea to help me with a new publication.
Then she came the next day and showed me that she captured some photos for me, so that I would have something to publish, and I was very happy and pleased with the gesture she made to me. 🙏🏻❤️

Es por esa razón que tengo para compartirles estas imágenes que han estado observando en el desarrollo del post, son fotografías que capturó mi pareja y me las cedió para poder usarlas en éste post.
Estas fotografías que capturó mi pareja @milagroscdlrr, nos permiten visualizar la Plaza Bolívar de nuestra ciudad Maracay, un lugar que Mila y yo frecuentamos mucho y usamos como punto de encuentro en varias ocasiones, además en las primeras imágenes también se puede observar la avenida adyacente a la plaza, llamada Avenida Bolívar.

En este punto solo puedo decir que esta experiencia me ha servido de lección y aprendizaje, lo tomaré como un nuevo punto de partida, con mayor precaución, estaré más atento a realizar algunas medidas de seguridad, para evitar perder todos mis archivos multimedia nuevamente y también lo veré como una reflexión, en donde el objetivo será publicar más seguido, de ser posible constantemente, porque hubo mucho contenido que pude haber respaldado aquí en Hive de haberlo publicado en el momento.
At this point I can only say that this experience has served me as a lesson and learning, I will take it as a new starting point, with more caution, I will be more attentive to perform some security measures, to avoid losing all my multimedia files again and I will also see it as a reflection, where the goal will be to publish more often, if possible constantly, because there was a lot of content that I could have backed up here in Hive if I had published it at the time.
