Hace días les había compartido nuestra experiencia decorando el salón para un día muy gratificante que era defender la tesis para optar al título de TSU en Fisioterapia. Tenía los nervios encima, nostalgia y felicidad al mismo tiempo, de verdad que es un sentimiento indescriptible. Finalmente llegó el día, el tan anhelado día de todos y todas, el famoso 3 de mayo.
Para mí suerte, pertenecia al segundo grupo que le tocaba exponer y me tuvieron que llevar temprano para la universidad. Ese día solo había desayunado y no quería almorzar, los nervios no me dejaba comer pero siempre está mamá dándote ánimos y recuerdo que me preparó una pequeña porción de arroz con mantequilla y tajadas, eso fue lo que me aguantó durante todo el día. Un día que estuvo lleno de muchos sentimientos encontrados, es un momento único y especial. I was so nervous, nostalgic and happy at the same time, it was truly an indescribable feeling. Finally, the day arrived, the long-awaited day for all of us, the famous May 3rd. Luckily for me, I belonged to the second group that had to present and they had to take me early to the university. That day I had only had breakfast and did not want to eat lunch, the nerves did not let me eat but Mom was always encouraging me and I remember that she prepared me a small portion of rice with butter and slices, that was what I endured throughout the day. A day that was full of many mixed feelings, it was a unique and special moment.
Primero, hablemos de la decoración porque yo quedé enamorada completamente. Gracias a un excelente equipo que nos ayudó a decorar para que todo quedara bello, además de nuestro aporte en la decoración fue una de las cosas más importantes para realización de esta. Eso quedó fue bello, vuelvo y repito, quedé encantada, sencillo y elegante.

First, let's talk about the decoration because I was completely in love. Thanks to an excellent team that helped us decorate so that everything would be beautiful, our contribution to the decoration was one of the most important things to make it happen. Llegó el momento esperado de defender el primer proyecto socio integrador (tesis) realizado en la universidad Simón Rodríguez y esto tiene una historia detrás, al menos para mí, antes que llegará el momento de exponer yo ya estaba llorando a mares y mi mejor amigo y colega, Jesús Alvarado, me hizo llorar mucho más. Pues, me recordó algo que yo debo recordar siempre, es que he luchado tanto durante tres años para que ese día se hiciera realidad uno de mis tantos sueños que tengo en mente, por el cuál estudio mucho y rezo mucho para que se cumpla y ese día se cumplió ❤️✨. Ese día mamá también colaboró en rezar bastante por mi y sé, que cada oración y cada lagrima de felicidad de mi mamá valió la pena a pesar de no estar presente por asuntos adversos. Ese día mamá me dió todas sus ganas y fortalezas para que fuera ese día segura de mi misma y poder defender con gallardía mi proyecto, que todo lo que estaba allí era mío y me lo merecía.
Defendí proyecto, con los conocimientos que traía desde hace un mes estudiando full hasta la madrugada (no era solamente mi punto sino que tenía que abarcar otros dos temas principales del proyecto que correspondía). Fue tanto la seguridad ese día, que sigo sin creer que eso sucedió así y en efecto, sucedió. Esperaba la tan anhelada respuesta por parte del jurado evaluador, dando gracias a Dios, el proyecto fue aprobado con 20 puntos. Gracias al esfuerzo y dedicación de mi grupo.

The long-awaited moment of defending the first socio-integrative project (thesis) done at Simón Rodríguez University arrived and this has a story behind it, at least for me, before the time to expose I was already crying my eyes out and my best friend, and colleague, Jesús Alvarado, made me cry even more. Well, he reminded me of something that I must always remember, is that I have fought so hard for three years for that day one of my many dreams that I have in mind, for which I study hard and pray a lot to be fulfilled and that day was fulfilled ❤️✨. That day Mom also collaborated in praying a lot for me and I know, that every prayer and every tear of happiness from my mom was worth it even though she was not present due to adverse matters. That day Mom gave me all her will and strength so that I could be sure of myself that day and be able to defend my project with gallantry, that everything that was there was mine and I deserved it.
I defended my project, with the knowledge that I had brought from a month ago, studying until the wee hours of the morning (it was not only my point, but I had to cover two other main topics of the project that corresponded). I was so sure that day, that I still do not believe that it happened that way, and in fact, it did. I was waiting for the long-awaited answer from the evaluation jury, and thank God, the project was approved with 20 points. Thanks to the effort and dedication of my group.
Nuestra tesis se basó en la terapia acuática como estrategia de intervención fisioterapéutica en pacientes con Enfermedad Cerebrovascular Isquémica en la comunidad de Bebedero Manzana I, Cumaná-Edo Sucre. La terapia acuática de por si, ya existe pero no implementado en la ciudad de Cumaná, que mucha falta hace para poder tratar las secuelas de un ACV, entonces nos pareció una gran idea para poder hacerlo realidad.
Un accidente cerebrovascular (ACV) es una de las tasas más alta de muerte y discapacidad en la población venezolana, que necesita ser atendida, tratada y prevenida. Cabe destacar que, si se vuelve a repetir, ya pasa a ser una enfermedad cerebrovascular (ECV)

Our thesis was based on aquatic therapy as a strategy of physiotherapeutic intervention in patients with Ischemic Cerebrovascular Disease in the community of Bebedero Manzana I, Cumaná-Edo Sucre. Aquatic therapy already exists, but it has not been implemented in the city of Cumaná, which is very much needed to treat the after-effects of a stroke, so we thought it was a great idea to make it a reality.
A cerebrovascular accident (CVA) is one of the highest rates of death and disability in the Venezuelan population, which needs to be attended to, treated, and prevented. It should be noted that, if it happens again, it becomes a cerebrovascular disease (CVD).
Finalmente, todas las noches que pasé sin dormir estudiando, los gastos, el llanto, el estrés y el cansancio valió totalmente la pena. Soy TSU en Fisioterapia, una linda Fisioterapeuta que siempre está dispuesta ayudar a quien más lo necesite, me llena de satisfacción cuando un paciente puede lograr algo que antes no podía, es lo más lindo de esta profesión.
Yo soy un ser que le fascina comer mucho, les informo que después que presenté si pude comer todos los pasapalos que había jajaa, después de haber brindado con Champagne con mi papá que ha sido un ser que tambien me ha ayudado mucho, fui a mi casa a celebrar con mis amigos más allegados, a comer bastante tequeños y tomar sangría jaja. Fue un excelente día, espero que les haya gustado, nos vemos pronto!

Finally, all the sleepless nights I spent studying, the expenses, the crying, the stress, and the tiredness were totally worth it. I am a TSU in Physical Therapy, a beautiful Physical Therapist who is always willing to help those who need it most, it fills me with satisfaction when a patient can achieve something that before could not, it is the most beautiful thing about this profession.
I am a being that loves to eat a lot, I inform you that after I asked if I could eat all the snacks that were there hahaha, after toasting with Champagne, I went home to celebrate with my closest friends, to eat a lot of tequeños and drink sangria haha.
