Today I encourage myself once again to be part of this activity, although I must confess that I thought I no longer had photographs to show (except those in photo albums) but my wife managed to find these on the computer, they are part of a moment important for the whole family, my niece 15 party, she is actually my wife's niece and therefore she is my niece-in-law. I remember that that was a slightly stressful day for everyone, the women in the beauty salon and us men went in and out of the party room all the time carrying everything that was going to be needed, the food, the centerpieces and those things. For example, I was in charge of carrying the cake and I remember that I was very nervous on the way fearing that it was going to break, although I asked one of my sisters-in-law to accompany me to protect it even more and fortunately it arrived intact at the party room.
Hoy me animo una vez más a formar parte de esta actividad, aunque debo confesar que creí que ya no tenía fotografías para mostrar (salvo las que están en álbumes de foto) pero mi esposa logró encontrar estas en la computadora, forman parte de un momento importante para toda la familia, los 15 años de mi sobrina, en realidad es sobrina de mi esposa y por ende es mi sobrina política. Recuerdo que ese fue un día un poco estresante para todos, las mujeres en el salón de belleza y nosotros los hombres salíamos y entrabamos a cada rato del salón de fiestas llevando todo lo que se iba a necesitar, la comida, los centros de mesa y esas cosas. Yo por ejemplo fui el encargado de llevar la torta y recuerdo que iba muy nervioso en el camino temiendo que se fuese a romper, aunque le pedí a una de mis cuñadas que me acompañara para resguardarlo todavía más y afortunadamente llegó integro al salón de fiestas.

La comida del buffet estaba deliciosa, había de todo un poco, incluso frutas, pero lo que a mi más me encantó fueron los entremeses de hojaldre
At the beginning of the party, some of the men in the family welcomed my niece with roses, 15 to be exact, representing her years of life. She was beautiful that day and I kept remembering how small she was a few years ago, when I was in ballet classes with my younger daughter.
Al inicio de la fiesta algunos hombres de la familia recibimos a mi sobrina con rosas, 15 para ser exacto, en representación de sus años de vida. Ella estaba preciosa ese día y yo no dejaba de recordar lo pequeñita que era hacía unos cuantos años atrás, cuando estaba en clases de ballet junto a mi hija menos.
The party was very lively, the food was delicious and the music was unbeatable, I like to listen to it although I don't really like to dance, but yes, my wife loves it, from time to time she came to the table to keep me company, but of course rest was dancing.
La fiesta estaba muy animada, la comida estaba deliciosa y la música inmejorable, me gusta escucharla aunque a mi no me gusta mucho bailar, pero eso sí, a mi esposa le encanta, de vez en cuando venía a la mesa a hacerme compañía, pero del resto estaba bailando.
But one of the most beautiful moments of the whole night was when my niece danced with my father-in-law (her grandfather). He passed away a few years ago, but he did not miss the special moments of his family.
Pero uno de los momentos más bonitos de toda la noche fue cuando mi sobrina bailó con mi suegro (su abuelito) él falleció ya hace algunos años, pero él no se perdía los momentos especiales de su familia.
