1. ¿Qué son las humanidades para ti?
La humanidad o en el plural humanidades es la relación racional entre dos o más personas que conviven en una sociedad y que buscan satisfacer sus deseos, sueños. Esto pudiera ser un concepto estructurado y completo a la pregunta de esta iniciativa y la descomposición es que solamente los humanos pueden ser racionales y de allí que cobre importancia, además solamente los humanos son capaces de crecer, reproducir y desarrollarse para relacionarse.

1. What are the humanities for you?
Humanity or in the plural humanities is the rational relationship between two or more people living together in a society and seeking to satisfy their desires, dreams. This could be a structured and complete concept to the question of this initiative and the breakdown is that only humans can be rational and hence it becomes important, also only humans are able to grow, reproduce and develop in order to relate to each other.

2. ¿Qué tan importante son las humanidades?
Lo venía subrayando en la pregunta anterior, sin embargo, es oportuno mencionar que una sociedad alejada de los afectos que es inherente al ser humano sería una sociedad fría. Los seres humanos dinamizan la sociedad aunque los grandes científicos quieren hacer ver que es la tecnología, lo importante del ser humano es como logra transformar sus espacios, eso que se va transformando en calidad humana, es lo que caracteriza al ser racional de un ser irracional.
Muchas veces creemos que un animal como perro o gato puede cubrir a un ser humano y será imposible, lo verdaderamente humano no se compra, no está en un ser que no habla, no está en pantallas. La humanidad es importante aunque en ocasiones hagamos cosas contarías con lo verdaderamente humanos, tiene tanto sentido hablar de humanidad que muchas organizaciones e instituciones van en defensa del ser, por ejemplo "los derechos humanos", la vienes humanas y un sin fin de nombre que dan énfasis a las humanidades.

3. ¿Piensas que esta era digital hay lugar para las humanidades?
No solamente se piensa sino que además estoy seguro que sin el ser humano, sin las ciencias humanas lo digital fuera un fracaso porque no puede subsistir por sí misma. La era digital necesita del ser humano, dentro de cada tecnología nueva hay una ciencia atrás, hay un estudio de ciencias humanas que comenzaron con libro o piedras pero no habrá remplazo sino más bien una unión de fuerzas entre lo humano y digital que pudiera ser peligroso para la sociedad.
4. ¿Qué propuesta sugieres para promover las humanidades en Hive?
Desde esta comunidad propongo un tema de interés social y evidentemente humano cada semana, un espacio de debate y disertación que sirva para la reflexión del ser humano. Muchas veces en #hive vamos en busca de una recompensa o de un poder superior y descuidamos las relaciones humanas a pesar de las pantallas, de lo bonito de compartir, hacer comunidad y de un mensaje alentador para aquel creador de contenido. En #hive no somos máquinas, hay muchos seres humanos que piensan, sienten y padecen.
3. Do you think that there is a place for the humanities in this digital era?
Not only it is thought but also I am sure that without the human being, without the human sciences the digital would be a failure because it cannot subsist by itself. The digital era needs the human being, within each new technology there is a science behind, there is a study of human sciences that began with books or stones but there will be no replacement but rather a union of forces between the human and the digital that could be dangerous for society.
4. What proposal do you suggest to promote the humanities in Hive?
From this community I propose a topic of social interest and obviously human every week, a space for debate and dissertation that serves for the reflection of the human being. Many times in #hive we go in search of a reward or a higher power and we neglect human relationships despite the screens, the beauty of sharing, making community and an encouraging message for the content creator. In #hive we are not machines, there are many human beings who think, feel and suffer.
