Being A Father
In this episode, John Marston will finally understand the crisis between his personal and family identity. The relationship between John and Jack is going through a tense phase, both are unable to connect. Abigail is trying her best to change John but with such a past, it is complicated for John to adapt to the changing environment. John will get the opportunity to strengthen his relationship with Abigail & Jack.
A new morning and a new debate is at the table. Abigail wants John to spend more time with his son. To which John replies that he is doing his best but he has no time for it.
Also, John expects his boy to be masculine whereas Abigail wants her son to be soft and academic.
John gets back to the farm for a new job. The owner accompanies the helper and asks for John's help.
The owner wants John to teach horse riding to his kid. John agrees and the owner leaves for Strawberry.
Helper describes the nature of the son and the horse. The horse is strong and hard to break.
John gets inside the stable and sees the son struggling with his new horse. John calms the horse and advises the son to break the strength of the horse first.
As it is difficult for the boy, John hops on the horse and leaves the stable for a ride.
John starts pacing up the horse to its potential. He wants to calm the anger of the horse and bring it under control.
John leaves the farm and gets near the streamside. He takes a good look around with this horse. This horse is a fast one like a rare horse that you have to search around the map.
John brings back the horse and tells the boy to start bonding with the horse and taking care of it.
John helps the boy to get back on the horse. John is guiding the boy to understand the techniques of riding a horse.
You can see how beautiful this location is. And from the start of the game, I liked this specific part of the map. It is so beautifully designed.
The owner's wife calls back John from the stable. She needs help with the cow who is about to give birth.
She tells John that she doesn't know how to deal with this.
John takes care of the cow and manages a smooth delivery.
This amazes the wife. However, she is expecting something more from John. She is having a crush on him and wants to do a deed with him. John says that he is married and gets back to see her wife.
Abigail wants John to act and do something for Jack. John takes the pony of the son who is now having a horse.
Jack looks happy and John takes him near the stream to teach him horse riding.
They are discussing this new pony while passing through a beautiful farm.
John tells Jack to not go beyond the stream. They must remaining proximity for safety.
John guides Jack to pace up the horse however, Jack is unable to regain his lost control due to his pace.
Jack falls on the ground and doesn't look happy with this teaching.
John asks for forgiveness and assures that he will take care of it from now on.
As Jack gets comfortable on his pony, John asks him for a race back to the farm.
They both compete with each other, Jack is slow but the game gives the option to slow down the horse and let Jack take the lead.
As they are getting near the farm, John intentionally slows down enough to let Jack win easily.
Jack wins the race and tells John to learn from him.
John hitch the horse and pony and gets back to his room with Jack. Now the relationship seems strengthening as both can reconnect with each other.
