Sometimes, murals go through the test of time without any tag or very little degradation like this one done in 2014 by Los Keos, duo formed by Robe and Fore.

This summer I walked through neighborhoods of Montreal a little further from home to discover new works and artists. And in an alley I saw this mural, it's not the first of Los Keos in Montreal but always cool to see their work, nice lettering with a character or two straight out of the cartoons of my childhood ... Ah the nostalgia š

Los Keos is a street artist duo composed of Robe and Fore, a Canadian Chilean couple. They met more than 10 years ago in Buenos Aires during their studies. They often paint on wagons or subway trains but not only, several walls in Montreal keep track of their passage š
Lettering done by Fore with the Galo de Barcelos, one of the most recognizable symbols of Portugal (as the mural is located in the Portuguese district of Montreal)
As you can see, I didn't have a wide lens to take all the mural as the alley was narrow... You'll have to imagine by putting in your mind the photo with the lettering of Robe then the character and finally the lettering of Fore with the rooster.
The cool character with a bottle of Sumol (Portuguese soft drink).
The Galo de Barcelos with on top the Lovebot, a small robot with a red heart.
Just for info, the Love Invasion must have taken place in Montreal in 2018 because paste-ups are now rare and those that remain are in bad condition except those placed in height. It's the work of Matthew Del Degan, artist based in Toronto.
