There are currently several ground delay programs in effect currently across the Northeast United States and Parts of Canada due to high winds, snow and ice.

Airports affected by ATC delays are:

• YYZ Toronto International Airport - up to 6 hour delays

• EWR Newark Liberty International Airport - up to 1 hour and 30 minutes due to high winds and weather condidtions

• LGA New York Laguardia - delays over 2 hours due to high winds

• JFK New York Kennedy - delays of 30 minutes due to high winds

• DFW Dallas Fort Worth International- 30 minute delays due to high traffic volumes

Passengers traveling into, out of, or through any of the airports should contact their airline before getting to the airport. Inquire about flight delays, cancellations, and possible alternate routings to avoid the weather and extended delays.
