Repotting Day

Hello fellow succulent lovers! I am very excited to be here and cannot wait to start sharing my collection with you and seeing all of your pretty succulents!

I enjoyed my visit to the nursery this weekend and added a little to my collection

One thing I love is different pots. Keep it colourful and exciting! Since I have moved around a bit, I also prefer to keep them in pots, so that I am allowed to take my succies with me when I move 😁

Lithops and cacti have always been my favourite kind of succulents. Since Lithops are indigenous to South Africa it makes it so much more satisfying to own them. Here in Pretoria, there is a nursery, Gariep Plants that specialises in Aloes and rare succulents. I almost lost myself and wanted to buy EVERYTHING!!

Anyhow, back to the reason for my post. After buying my new Lithops and a really pretty cactus, I decided to repot them all.

Ready to dig in

The 2 moon cacti had to be refilled. The Lithops I have planted over with space for their roots to grow. As I have a bit of OCD, they HAD to be planted in a pattern.

Repotting done

I was very pleased with how they all turned out, and the 2 cacti in the new 'sitting man' pots look adorable!

I like having long nails and I have no problem with dirt under my nails after gardening

Thank you all for reading my post. Hope I did not bore you roo much!
