After messing up my hair with bleach, to restore my hair, I need extra care and more than a shampoo. I don’t do expensive hair care because it isn’t in the budget but there’s one product that I highly trust when it comes to hair– it’s Makarizo. They are pretty affordable and their conditioning shampoo is something that I’ve been using for my hair care. While there are Korean brands and international brands all around the market, I find Makarizo just works for my hair and has been with me for quite a while.
This is how my current hair looks hair and the roots are now already going darker than the rest of the hair.
It has been a month since my last attempt to gray out my hair and I was mildly surprised since I was expecting it to gray out by itself after sometime. Alas, they still grow darker and It is what it is. Maybe one day it’ll grow darker or my genes won’t allow it since a lot of family members of mine from my paternal family don’t really have gray hair even in their 50’s and 60’s. During the first 2 weeks after bleaching, my hair was dry as the desert. It was really hard to comb and I was tempted to just cut them off. But it took me a while to grow my hair and it feels like a waste to do so. That’s why I ordered the Advisor Hair Repair Mask Tube by Makarizo.
This hair repair mask really helps with smoothening the hair and making it less dry. I used it daily at first but now twice a week since my hair is slowly healing from the dry situation it has. Although now it's still as not as smooth as I'd like it to be and how it was, I am fairly happy with it for now. Most days I also use a hat to hide that part because it's extremely hot outside and that could further damage my hair.
If you have same problem like I do, using hair mask helps and it isn't expensive either. I also combined it with their conditioning shampoo and now my hair is not looking that bad. Although I would still need to get a haircut soon since my hair grows thicker and I’d prefer to have thinner hair with a temperature constantly above 70F.
I think if you’re experimental with hair like myself, it’s always better to invest in repairing the damage too. It doesn’t have to be expensive but just find something that works for you. It took a while to restore the damaged hair but once the cycle s done, you're ready to experiment with it all over again.
