Today I'll love to share a cultural attires of the Yoruba people, The Yoruba tribal people can be find in the western part of Nigeria, though the ethic group also extend to other nations of Africa like Togo and Benin.

ATTIRES

The following are the common attires of the Yoruba people, which can be rock to an event, or worn by couples during a Yoruba traditional wedding;

• ASO OKE/OFI
  The Aso Ofi is the traditional Attires known and common to the Yoruba people since ages past, it's a hand woven fabric, although modern machine as been made to make its production easier and faster. It can be use to make the following;
  I- *Gele (Headgear also known as scarf or Head tie)
  II- Fila ("Cap" mostly worn by men)
  III- Buba (Blouse also known as shirt or Top)
  IV- Agbada (The big cloth worn on Buba, it's commonly worn by the men)
  V- Iro (Wrapper or Skirt)
  VI- *Ipele (Shoulder sash or shawl)
  All the above listed are Aso Oke or Ofi fabrics

• ẹgba ọrun

The ẹgba ọrun is popularly known as beads or necklace.
And are commonly worn by Chieftain or Traditional rules, it's also worn for fashion or as a beauty enhancer.
The ẹgba ọrun (beads) are also worn on the wrist and waist.

• Bata

The most common Bata(shoe) worn by the Yoruba people is the Bata ileke, although the usage seems to diminish at a time, but it's now getting into the limelight again.

The above are the identity of a Yoruba tribal people when it comes to their traditional mode of dressing before the avert of western education and it's still trending in this 21st century during weddings and other events.
