Mostly the people dress in our usual kente cloth with traditional made slippers. Women trim their hair like someone wearing crown. So we call it dancing 👑.

These dance moves are well practiced to do it right. It follows a specific pattern. The drums used are made from our leather from cattles and maybe sheep.

Some of the rhythm from these drums heaps praise on the one who sits on the throne. They are also used to communicate to the people in times of war and when they want to keep things as secret. In the olden days, these drums were used to alert villages when there was danger and also used to convey information from the palace to the people.

Men as old as old come to serve their king and queens. People will pay allegiance to their heritage more than their own life when it comes to the Ashanti's and their kingdoms.

People might find this abzurb but this is what most people were thought to believe and it difficulties to get them to stop. Asante worship their throne and the one who sits on it because it is believe the stool was enchanted from the sky by Okomfo Anokye. The golden stool which the English wanted to take away. They are united by that so when there’s such moments people give their all in worship.
