[Share n burn] Today's coronavirus (COVID-19) links - March 9, 2020

Today's articles on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) inform us that 5 US governors have declared states of emergency, the Gates Foundation is working to bring home coronavirus test kits to people in Washington state, and universities in the US are cancelling college classes. Additionally, there are a number of articles about business topics including focus on telecommuting, advertising, travel, and autonomous driving.

Of local (to me) interest, the number of reported cases in Pennsylvania has increased to 5 after the state began testing last week. As the testing capability increases, I'm expecting to see that number grow at a pretty good clip.

As mentioned in previous posts, here is a visualization tool for mapping the cases of COVID-19 occurrences. According to the site, this morning's worldwide number of reported cases was 111,354 with 62,373 recoveries, 3,892 fatalities, and 566 cases in the US. My home state of Pennsylvania is up to 5 reported cases, with three of those in the Philadelphia suburbs.
