One main theme in today's headlines about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is tourism. Tourism headlines include: advice for travelers, news that Amtrak has suspended it's Acela service between Washington and NYC, word that the Grand Princess cruise shipped has docked and 3,500 passengers have been quarantined. Additionally there is continued news about conference cancellations and businesses making changes to telecommuting and travel.
Of regional interest, New York City has declared a state of emergency, and there have been two new reported cases in Pennsylvania, bringing the total to 4. In real life, I have been telling people to expect this number to explode in the near future as the state ramps up its testing capability.

According to the site, this morning's worldwide number of reported cases was 107,353 with 60,637 recoveries, 3,646 fatalities, and 436 cases in the US. The cases reported in the US include 8 recoveries, 17 deaths, and 4 cases in my own state of Pennsylvania.
