Hi Friends of the @plantpoweronhive community, I'm so happy to be participating again in this week's contest with a different theme from the previous week, which is vegan shopping with a Salt theme. Shopping is one of my most anticipated trips, it's been a lot of fun after a few days of not enjoying the outdoors. This was due to the busy preparations for a big event at older sister house. Now after the big event, I wanted to spend some time alone to shop for my needs.

This time I shopped at one of the supermarkets where I usually shop. Namely Suzuya Lhokseumawe, this time I went only by myself, I headed there around 11 pm, got there parked the motorbike and immediately entered the storefront rack area. The first thing I bought was a drink, I was very thirsty because the weather outside was very hot this made me thirsty and hot.

After feeling cool I walked to find the shelf where the salt was. This was enough to make me confused, I looked for salt everywhere and didn't find it. As a result I asked the clerk after circling around a few times on the far shelf.

It turns out that the salt rack is in the first kloter, haha this is enough to make me smile to myself. Coming to shop alone turned out to be exciting here too, they moved the storefront so there were a lot of changes here, and it was enough to make me confused.

Well in my area, there are not many types of salt sold in supermarkets, only two types of salt. They sell table salt and sea salt. Table salt is what I usually consume, this salt has good benefits. The salt that I usually consume is often called dolpin salt, this salt itself has iodine levels. This salt is produced by one of the Pt in Indonesia. But it is not uncommon for local people to consume local salt from local farmers. Like my mother, she usually consumes local salt produced by local farmers. This is because we are close to the coastal area so there are a lot of salt farmers around us.

Salt is one of the spices that must be present in Indonesian dishes. Both gravy, cakes and even desserts use a lot of salt. So salt is very useful and has a high selling power in the community.

I was very happy to find dolpin salt on this shelf, well this dolpin salt itself has three packages, small 250 grams medium 500 grams and large 1kg. I bought a small pack of salt weighing 250 grams. I deliberately bought the medium size because I didn't want to use it for too long. That's because salt gets wet very quickly if exposed to the slightest water.

The price of salt is very varied, the small size is priced at IDR. 3,850, the medium at IDR. 6,150 and the large at IDR. 14,700. Salt has a very cheap price from other types of cooking spices. Well for sea salt the price is relatively more expensive 1 package of 300 grams costs 39,500 because the promo is only 35,500. This is very expensive in my opinion and I am curious about this salt but still shopping must take into account other needs at home. I'm sure this salt is much more expensive because of the manufacturing process.

In my opinion, whatever type of salt is used it relatively makes our dishes very tasty. But still the level of saltiness of different types of salt is different, like this dolpin brand, the salt is fine but tastes too salty from local farmer salt. So when cooking it is necessary to pay attention to it. Now I'm sure in many other countries salt has the same function in dishes. But still in other countries must have different salt from the usual that I see.
