Dry garlic coconut chutney recipe perfect for Vada pav

Happy monsoon foodies !

Monsoon is one of the best time to enjoy hot, spicy food. But eating outside is not very safe during the rainy season, And if there is dry garlic and coconut chutney at home then making anything becomes easy...and eating it becomes more enjoyable.

There are many ways to make this dry chutney but today i would like to share a recipe which i try yesterday .

This is a delightful combination, which is perfect to enjoy vada pav or any types of fritters. Apart from these, we can also enjoy this as a side dish during lunch and dinner in our daily life.

We can make this chutney easily and in less time, we can use ingredients to our choice, this time i combined garlic, coconut and peanuts. Otherwise we can make separate chutney from that ingredients. I roasted all ingredients so it give nice flavour. It took 15-20 minutes to make and need some time to dry.

INGREDIENTS ✅

  • Peanuts 1/2 bowl
  • Garlic cloves 10-15 cloves
  • Coconut powder 1 bowl
  • White sesame seeds 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder 4 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp

PROCESS ✅

Step 1 :

First collect all ingredients, roast all things one by one .

For that take a fry pan, heat the pan and add garlic cloves.

First roast garlic for 30-40 seconds, than add peanuts and roast again for some second on the low flame. After that add cumin seeds and white sesame seeds and roast them for some second.

At last add coconut powder and just roast for 10 second. Turn off the flame.

Step 2 :

Now add salt, red chilli powder and coriander powder and stir for one minute.

Now it look like that.

Let this mixture cool down for 10-20 minutes.

Step 3 :

Now take a jar, put this mixture in the jar and grind it.

You don't need to grind over this....otherwise it will become very wet or soggy.

Step 4 :

Now put that chutney on paper or on a kitchen towel for drying . I keep it for 4-5 hours.

Your coconut garlic dry chutney is ready to enjoy.

Enjoy it with vada pav , fritters and any food. You can store this chutney for some days in the air tight container.

This time we enjoyed this chutney with Vada pav, which recipe I'll share soon.

Hope you like this recipe, and will try soon for this monsoon season 😌. Will meet soon again, till take care yourself and enjoy the taste of the life and food 😀 , because Eating good food always makes the mood better.

Thank you so much everyone for your time , support and love 🤍🌸
