Good evening, everyone! How are you all doing? Today, I'd like to share with you a recipe for another delicious and nutritious curry: bitter gourd curry. Bitter gourd curry holds a special place in culinary traditions worldwide. With its numerous health benefits, this dish has become a staple in many households. By combining the sweet flavors of bitter gourd with a blend of spices, bitter gourd curry offers a unique and nourishing culinary experience. Bitter gourds come in many varieties, and for this recipe, I used a large one. Packed with vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber, bitter gourd provides a range of health benefits, including improved digestion, hydration, and weight management. Now, let's dive into how to prepare this delicious curry.
Required Ingredients...
🍀 Bitter gourd 200g.
🍀 A chopped tomato.
🍀 A few small or chopped onions.
🍀 Two green chillies, finely chopped.
🍀 A few cinnamon sticks.
🍀 Some finely chopped garlic.
🍀 Curry leaves.
🍀 1 1/2 cup of coconut milk.
🍀 Salt to taste.
🍀 1 teaspoons of chili powder.
🍀 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
🍀 1 teaspoons of roasted curry powder.
Method of making.
First, wash and cut the gourd bitter , tomatoes and green chillies.
Then take a bowl and add about a tablespoon of coconut oil to it and put it on the stove and let it heat on a low flame. Once the oil is hot, add garlic, onion, curry leaves, cinnamon and green chillies and fry for about a minute.
Then add chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt powder and fried curry powder to it and mix well.
Then add the gourd and coconut milk to it, mix well and cook for more than 5 minutes.
Finally, after the gourd is cooked, add chopped tomatoes to it and cook for about a minute and remove the curry from the heat.
Now this delicious gourd curry is ready. This can be enjoyed with rice, bread. Also, it can be easily prepared with a small amount of raw materials.
