Let's make a nutritious and delicious "pittu" from a combination of grains for breakfast

Today, I'd like to share with you how I prepare a nutritious and delicious breakfast, specifically focusing on a dish called pittu, which is rich in grains. In the quest for a healthy and satisfying breakfast, incorporating whole grains is crucial. An intriguing alternative to tantalize your taste buds is the preparation of multigrain pittu, combining the goodness of chickpeas, red peas, and rice flour. Now, let's embark on this culinary journey step by step.

Required Ingredients...

๐Ÿ€ chickpea 100g.
๐Ÿ€ 2 cup of rice flour.
๐Ÿ€ Red cowpea 100g.
๐Ÿ€ 2 cup of grated coconut.
๐Ÿ€ A thinly sliced โ€‹โ€‹carrot.
๐Ÿ€ A few pods of beans, finely cut.
๐Ÿ€ Some finely chopped Centella asiatica.
๐Ÿ€ Salt to taste.

Method of making....

First, boil the red cowpea and chickpea well separately. After the grains are boiled, take a spoon and crush them well. As in the following pictures.

Then cut carrots, beans, Centella asiatica etc. thinly and keep them separately.

Next, place the rice flour in a separate bowl, add grated coconut and a pinch of salt, then mix well. Then add chopped carrots, beans, Centella asiatica leaves and mix again.

Then add crushed chickpea and red cowpea to it and mix well again.

Afterward, transfer this mixture into small bowls or use a steaming kitchen tool. In the depicted pictures below, the mixture was steamed for 7 minutes. Once steamed, place it in a separate container.

You can steam this for about 7 minutes in any way you want.
