Starting from having a piece of pumpkin in the fridge, and then having an idea to make pumpkin pudding for iftar. Besides the recipe is so simple, all ingredients also I have at home. So, Let's follow my journey make pudding pumpkin!!
The ingredients to be prepared are:
• 150 grams of steamed pumpkin then mashed
• 1 sachet swallow powder
• 40 grams of palm sugar (comb until soft)

• 500 ml of water
• 50 ml coconut milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon cornstarch flour
• A pinch of salt
Step 1: Blend the pumpkin until soft
Step 2: Add water agar-agar swallow
Step 3: Boil the water, and then add all ingredients together and cook until tick.
Making steps
• Blend pumpkin using water until soft
• Boil water in a pan, add ingredients: Palm sugar, vanilla, agar-agar
• After boiling keep stirring, so that the ingredients do not stick
• Put the pumpkin that has been blended into the pan: stir
• Add salt to taste
• Prepare the pudding mold for pouring the dough
• Pour into the mold, let it cool
• Pudding is ready to serve
Step 4: Pour into moulding, I used the small one and bigger one
Note: Only using budding molds and a long pan, because my cake making equipment is still small.
Benefits of pumpkin:
Pumpkin pudding can be enjoyed in any setting, especially in the afternoon or evening when the weather is hot. This food is suitable for children who don't like to eat, mom can make pumpkin pudding as a snack. Pumpkin has many benefits for health, the fruit is yellow, soft and sweet. When making this pudding I only added a little palm sugar.
Pumpkin is made up of 94% water, so it is low in calories. This fruit contains beta-carotene and carotenoids which are converted into Vitamin A, which is good for eye health.
Benefits of pumpkin for health: Keeping blood pressure normal, reducing cancer risk, maintaining skin health, reducing the risk of chronic disease. Pumpkin can also increase immunity, maintain eye health, maintain weight. Pumpkin is also good for stomach health.
