End of October is usually not good for shadow hunting in Estonia - the days are short and rainy and the sun can be rarely seen from behind the grey clouds. That is why I have organized an archive file for pictures with shadows I find. I keep them to use in one of my most favourite contests and try not to miss a week. 🙂

These pictures were taken in early September. That morning I came to the orphanage to give a lesson for a wonderful boy Vitalik. He was waiting for me in the corridor at the entrance. When I walked in, I said "Wow!" - such a stunning pattern was created by the shadows on the yellow wall of the corridor! Vitalik shared my interest and enjoyed watching me taking photographs. He got so involved in the process that he began to tell me where the pictures on the wall turned out better.

Эти снимки были сделаны в начале сентября. В то утро я пришла в детский дом, чтобы провести урок для замечательного мальчика по имени Виталик. Он ждал меня в коридоре у входа. Когда я вошла, я не удержалась от восклицания - такой потрясающий узор создавали тени на желтой стене коридора! Виталик разделил мой интерес и с удовольствием наблюдал за тем, как я фотографирую. Он так втянулся в процесс, что начал подсказывать мне, где картинки на стене получились получше.
