After a few weeks, I've collected some photos of shadows, and now I'm ready to share them with the Shadow Hunters community.

The Shadow Hunters Contest (SMaSh - Show Me a Shadow) on the Hive Blockchain is one of the oldest contests, having run for almost 8 years (maybe someone can correct me?), and consistently rewards outstanding entries. If that isn鈥檛 proof of trust, what is?

Enjoy the shadows!

Wherever I am, on these sunny and sweltering days, whether I want to or not, I find myself weaving through the shadows, hiding from the sun, and then taking a few photos.
We were here visiting my mother and later my wife鈥檚 parents; while I was waiting for coffee, I went outside into the heat. The shadows of the roses, the shadows of the fences, and then off to the store with a shopping cart.
Here鈥檚 my Atos, resting on the terrace in front of the trailer. It鈥檚 40掳C under the roof, but it doesn鈥檛 bother him :)

Here鈥檚 another interesting fact鈥攚e never run out of water here. No one can remember anything like that ever happening. Beneath the town鈥攐r rather, beneath the entire valley, which is a karst field鈥攖here are underground freshwater lakes鈥攄rinking water that flows from beneath Sne啪nik toward the 艩kocjan Caves and then continues on to flow into the sea in Italy.
The local water supply system is connected to this, as are water supply lines to Croatia鈥擱ijeka, Opatija鈥攁nd toward the Slovenian coast鈥擪oper.

And now, the shadows in the park. I let Atos lead the way as he pleases; he usually chooses the usual route, while I capture the shadows with my camera. They鈥檙e always different鈥攅specially as the day goes on; at 10 a.m., the shadows cast by the trees are different from those at noon.
From shadow to shadow, we make our way, avoiding the sun.

The town park is small鈥攁bout 2 by 2 kilometers鈥攃risscrossed with paths and benches, and home to over 100 different species of trees and shrubs, but now we鈥檝e reached the end, the other entrance, where I usually stop if I see someone I know. There鈥檚 a bocce court and a cozy caf茅 with a large, shaded terrace. And some shade, of course.
