happy new year to all reflection hunters
the temperature inched above freezing yesterday so the ice melted just enough to create a thin film of water on top of the ice. it was extremely slippery so there were unusually few people out for the traditional sunday walk.
so i focused on a couple that braved the conditions
and followed them on the road to the sea. here they are approaching the old gunpowder storehouse
and beyond. the beach is just the other side of the embankment.
if you zoom in on the powderhouse you can see it was built in 1779
