Espero que se encuentren muy bien✨, yo me encuentro finalizando las actividades de mi intensivo universitario que ha sido toda una travesía.
Este día tuve una asignación para la materia Principios de la Ingeniería fue nueva para mí, pues debíamos realizar un Lapbook y defenderlo en clases, por suerte fue en parejas y estuve de equipo con mi amiga Michelle. Nuestro tema fue la Entropía, relaciones termodinámicas y flujo entrópico.

I hope you are doing very well✨, I am finishing the activities of my university intensive which has been quite a journey.
This day I had an assignment for the subject Principles of Engineering that was new for me because we had to make a Lapbook and defend it in class, luckily it was in pairs and I was teamed up with my friend Michelle. Our topic was Entropy, thermodynamic relations, and entropic flow.

Admito que antes de esto, yo no tenía idea de lo que era un Lapbook, tuve que investigar, pero afortunadamente mi compañera Michelle ya había trabajado con esto anteriormente y fue mi guía en todo momento.
Se trata de un libro desplegable, con muchos atajos, sobres con sorpresas y solapas que se pueden tirar para descubrir más y más información. Es una buena forma de memorizar el contenido, porque mientras realizábamos cada detalle, íbamos leyendo y analizando, cosa que fue de gran ayuda al momento de estudiar.
I admit that before this, I had no idea what a Lapbook was, I had to research, but luckily my partner Michelle had worked with this before and was my guide throughout.
It is a fold-out book, with lots of shortcuts, envelopes with surprises, and flaps that you can pull to discover more and more information. It is a good way to memorize the content because while doing each detail, we read and analyzed, which was a great help when studying.
Michelle es muy creativa y exigente consigo misma, cosa que me encanta porque puedo compartir eso en común con ella, queríamos hacer algo bonito y muy llamativo, aunque nos costó un poco porque básicamente tuvimos un día para terminarlo, así es el intensivo, todo para mañana mismo, a diferencia de un semestre normal.
Estuve un poco nerviosa por exponer porque sería mi primera vez utilizando este recurso como apoyo, pero lo hice bien y Michelle también, después nos sentamos para ver las presentaciones de los otros compañeros.
Michelle is very creative and demanding with herself, which I love because I can share that in common with her, we wanted to do something beautiful and very striking, although it cost us a little because we had one day to finish it, that's how the intensive is, everything for tomorrow, unlike a normal semester.
I was a little nervous about presenting because it would be my first time using this resource as a prop, but I did well and so did Michelle, then we sat down to watch the other classmates' presentations.

Me encantaron los trabajos de mis otros compañeros, varios de ellos me dejaron tomarles fotos encantados, bien orgullosos de sus creaciones.
Admito, aquí entre nosotros que mi favorito fue el de mi amiga Edgarys, ella tiene una forma de trabajar y logra que todo termine siendo muy aesthetic y eso me encanta, siempre que nos asignan alguna manualidad, me pongo ansiosa por ver lo que ella hizo.
I loved the work of my other classmates, several of them let me take pictures of them, and I was very proud of their creations.
I admit, here among us, that my favorite was my friend Edgarys, she has a way of working and manages to make everything end up being very aesthetic and I love that, whenever we are assigned a craft, I get anxious to see what she did.

Al tratarse de un tema tan extenso como la Termodinámica, lo hemos venido conociendo a lo largo de este lapso, temas como los Ciclos de Carnot, la Entropía y las aplicaciones en la industria alimentaria que es lo que nos interesa como futuros Ingenieros en Alimentos. Algunos compañeros hasta llevaron máquinas para demostraciones, fue genial.
Hemos aprendido mucho con el profe Jerry, así que le hago una mención especial, ha sido un gran profesor y me ha dejado muy contenta el poder entender cada tema, a diferencia de la Parte I de esta materia.
Since it is a subject as extensive as Thermodynamics, we have been learning about it throughout this period, topics such as Carnot Cycles, Entropy, and applications in the food industry, which is what interests us as future Food Engineers. Some classmates even brought machines for demonstrations, it was great.
We learned a lot with Prof. Jerry, so I give him a special mention, he was a great teacher and I was very happy to be able to understand each topic, unlike Part I of this subject.

Esta sería nuestra última asignación porque era el último contenido, así que después de esto, solo deberíamos esperar nuestras notas.
Gracias a mi amiga Michelle, porque sin ella hubiese estado totalmente perdida en este tema, nuestro Lapbook quedó hermoso y fue divertido hacerlo, aunque también estresante.

This would be our last assignment because it was the last content, so after this, we should just wait for our grades.
Thanks to my friend Michelle, because without her I would have been totally lost in this subject, our Lapbook turned out beautiful and it was fun to do, although also stressful.
