What's for lunch today?

Early this morning after my husband's work ,we take the kids to the beach since there's no classes today.
My kids requested us to take them to the beach .
We are bit far from the beach and we can't take them more often .

When I finished doing my morning house chores,we went to the beach as the kids requested it.

We saw some jelly fish and I am scared of it ,so we decided to go home even if the kids does'nt satisfied yet on swimming.

When we got home ,my father in-law handed a plastic bag with some shells,it came from his friends who lived near the sea.

What I did is ,I put in a container and add water and salt so the shell will open itself and released their dirts.

After an hour ,I prepared what I need for our lunch and decided to cook the shell.
I prepared the spices I needed and gathered some malunggay leaves .

This recipe is very easy to prepare anyway.

After I cleaned the shell ,I brushed it and wash with clean water ,I prepared what I need.
I first saute the garlic and onion then add the shell and stir for 3-5 minutes and added some water.
When it boiled ,I add salt and pepper to taste and cooked for 7-10 minutes and last I added the malunngay leaves .

I also make a fried rice ,our left over from our breakfast ,as we all know that Filipino's meal can't be completed without a rice hahaha.

I also heat the pork adobo ,our left over from our breakfast.

And that's it for our lunch ,a heavy meal as well hahaha.

As much as possible I am not waisting ,I always re-heat our left over food from our previous meal ,I also do re-cooked whenever we have some left over foods.

After having our lunch ,a lot of sweats I released hahaha.
Having a soup at the lunch time is very satisfying hahahha.
Honestly ,I look like after having a workout because of the sweats I released lol!

Now I tried to less the food I take ,I tried to control my self from eating and glad that I already see the results of it.I am happy for the progress I had.I lost now 1kilo from my almost a month of controlling my self to food.
