Hello everyone, welcome to my blog. Happy weekend to you all, trust you're having a wonderful weekend. The Year 2023 has been a wonderful year for me because the Bible admonishes us to give thanks.

In life journey, every single year has been a blessing as each year brings its own unique revelation leaving me behind a lot of blessings to contemplate, absorb and learn. As we wrap up this year 2023 one of the standing lessons I have learned among many others is the importance of being independent and self-reliant.

A lot has happened to me as a person throughout the sea and all these are brought me to a point of realization that I need to be depending not putting my trash and open other before now the young person I used to depend on my parents family members solely, but I came to discover that men will always feel as humans we we can't always be perfect as a result of that I have come to learn that I shouldn't expect much from people if possible nothing, I have moved from depending solely on others to yielding to myself and it has breed self-confidence.

The disappointment that I face this year from people especially those that are very close to me help me to know the necessity to be self-sufficient, I had no choice rather than to build the ability of prioritizing myself first, building of confidence to tackle every challenges that comes my way whether it's was academic challenge or financial challenges. This helped me build resilience.

Since I had so much disappointment, it left me with no option but to be making decisions by myself. I realized the need for personal growth and fulfillment. There was no need for an external person opposing some of the decisions I needed to make this year for my life. Since I'm the one making some crucial decisions for myself it has made me become extra careful on the things I do, cause every single action I take I have to be accountable for it, hence making me rethink before acting
In these year I realized that there was an ability and inner strength in me, but because I always have people do things for me I didn't notice it, for the very fact that I could face my fears alone was something of joy to me, the boldness to speak for myself and stand by it is enough discovery.

I had freedom, this year I have been able to explore, I have been more consistent in working effortlessly towards earning money, reading hard for my academic success. Still in this year my mindset has been renewed, I have come to realize that people don't owe me anything, for the fact that my parents and loved ones are taking good care of me, is not a right but a privilege I'm enjoying.

This are the outstanding lessons I have learnt in this year 2023.
