Good afternoon #ocd community, on this occasion I will post a photo that belongs to the insect kingdom, as we both know that insects have various types, and the type of insect in my post today is called a fly. The fly in this post is definitely different, this fly is called Apple maggot, that's the name I found when accessing google lens, and when I was curious about other information, I started to access google search and found wikipedia as the source, and there I found another name from This fly is Rhagolitis pomonella, or commonly known as the train worm.
This fly belongs to the type of fruit fly, especially apple. In terms of size, this type of fly is also smaller than the house fly, on wikipediq it is explained that:
The adult form of this insect is about 5 mm (0.20 in) long, slightly smaller than the house fly. The larvae, which are the stages of the insect's life cycle that cause noticeable damage to the fruit, are similar to the larvae of flies or maggots in general.
