Hola gente de Hive, el día de hoy les presentaré la segunda parte de la colección del libro de mandalas Animal Kindom del autor Millie Marotta, al igual que el mandala anterior, este tiene a un ave como protagonista solo que esta vez viene acompañada de unas flores y al mismo tiempo el ave ya no se encuentra posando sentada, sino que en este caso se encuentra volando y está en el primer plano de la imagen.
Hello people of Hive, today I will present the second part of the collection of the Animal Kindom mandala book by the author Millie Marotta, like the previous mandala, this one has a bird as the main character but this time it is accompanied by some flowers and at the same time the bird is no longer posing sitting, but in this case it is flying and is in the foreground of the image.

Decidí comenzar con las cuatro variantes de verde que tenía a la mano. Verde oliva, pasto, aguamarina y claro. Junto con esto añadí el color marrón con el objetivo de intentar replicar los colores que representan más a la naturaleza, buscando darle vida a la imagen para que acto seguido mostrar los detalles en las plantas de abajo.
I decided to start with the four variations of green I had on hand. Olive green, grass, aquamarine and light. Along with this I added the color brown with the objective of trying to replicate the colors that represent nature the most, looking to give life to the image and then show the details in the plants below.
Con las variantes del verde disponibles y el marrón, comencé a darle vida al mandala.
With the available variations of green and brown, I began to bring the mandala to life.
En este punto del trabajo, donde con los colores base estaban en las plantas y la frente del ave, decidí añadir otros colores como son: amarillo, naranja, rojo, violeta y rojo ladrillo. Con los que se fueron añadiendo para finalizar con algunas plantas y seguir añadiendo colores en la frente del ave para generar un efecto de mosaico.
At this point of the work, where the base colors were in the plants and the forehead of the bird, I decided to add other colors such as: yellow, orange, red, violet and brick red. With those that were added to finish with some plants and continue adding colors in the forehead of the bird to generate a mosaic effect.
Con las flores casi terminadas empece con los detalles del vientre y continuar con la frente del ave.
With the flowers almost finished I started with the details of the belly and continued with the forehead of the bird.
En este punto ya nos encontramos en la recta final del mandala y podemos ver que los detalles faltantes de las plantas ya fueron añadidos finalizando definitivamente con esa parte, luego se incluyeron más colores en las plumas del vientre, zonas cercanas al pico, la espalda e iniciaría a pintar las plumas de las alas. Los colores usados fueron los siguientes: ocre, azul cielo, rosado, mora y durazno.
At this point we are already in the final stretch of the mandala, and we can see that the missing details of the plants were already added, finishing definitively with that part, then more colors were included in the feathers of the belly, areas near the beak, the back and would begin to paint the feathers of the wings. The colors used were the following: ocher, sky blue, pink, blackberry and peach.
Con muchos detalles añadidos y con partes del cuerpo ya pintadas empezaríamos con las alas.
With many details added and body parts already painted we would start with the wings.
Ya solo faltarían las plumas de las alas, un símbolo de libertad y ascenso, para esta misión decidí incluir tres variaciones de azul y morado. Los azules utilizados fueron: azul cielo, nocturno y marino. Para darle mayor simbolismo con los colores que representan mejor al cielo y al mar, con el morado busque un poco más de elegancia en el resultado final.
The only thing missing were the feathers on the wings, a symbol of freedom and ascent, for this mission I decided to include three variations of blue and purple. The blues used were: sky blue, night blue and navy blue. To give it more symbolism with the colors that best represent the sky and the sea, with the purple, I looked for a little more elegance in the final result.
Con los colores añadidos ya el mandala se encontraba listo, solo le falta un detalle en el fondo.
With the colors added, the mandala was ready, only a detail in the background was missing.
Ya el mandala estaba listo, sin embargo, le hacía falta un fondo o añadirle un color para que la imagen no se vea en un fondo blanco, por lo que use tiza de color azul claro y junto con algodón empece a esparcir la tiza en la hoja y pintar con el algodón para que la hoja agarrara el color en cuestión, dando como resultado un fondo un poco más natural con el color del cielo de la mañana.
The mandala was ready, however, it needed a background or to add a color so that the image would not be seen on a white background, so I used light blue chalk and together with cotton I started to spread the chalk on the leaf and paint with the cotton so that the leaf would pick up the color in question, resulting in a background a little more natural with the color of the morning sky.
Ya el mandala está listo, solamente se añadió un detalle con tiza para que no pareciera algo en un fondo blanco.
The mandala is ready, only a detail was added with chalk so that it would not look like something on a white background.
