Hello hivers,an happy Wednesday to you all! I hope you spent a funny Halloween with many candies, cookies and chocolates!
Here it's raining hard since yesterday and it looks the perfect atmosphere to watch some horror movies on the tv, sitting on my comfortable sofa with a cup of good tea in my hand (and maybe this is what I'll do in the afternoon). _
This morning I woke up soon as I use to do every day, I cooked some pancakes to eat for breakfast and, after a cup of good coffee I started to work on a new artwork for the series about birds. In the following pics, you can see the final result:
It's my own version of the Sunda zebra finch (Taeniopygia guttata) and you can read more about this bird here. This kind of bird doesn't live in my country, but watching its photo I was very intrigued by the colors of their bodies and so I painted it in my own illustrative style!
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint something new, I took some pics while I was painted it on my small working table :
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home!
