Hello! I'm Tony and today I'm going to share 8 decks that perform extremely well on a budget at Mythic rank on Weekend event! (deck codes included)

First of all let's see results of the budget deck that I featured in previous post.

DECK: GU_1_5_CAuCAuHAFHAFHAEHAECATCATCCOCCOCAvCBhCBhIDKHAJCBxCBxCDLCDLCArCArIDMIDMCAxCAxIDFIDFIDUCDfCDf

The deck slightly changed from previous version:

• minus 1 Hunt Warden
• plus 1 Black Jaguar
• minus 1 Tainted Treant
• plus 1 Celestial Stag

The deck and it's owner performed very well achieving 20 wins out of 25 getting those sweet 2 Core Legendary packs and 2 DO Legendary packs.
In previous week the same player won 22 games out of 25 getting 3 Core Legendary packs and 3 DO Legendary packs.
I consider these results very consistent and proving that it's possible to compete at Mythic rank for high rewards even on a budget!
Let's now watch other budget decklists and results it's owners from the previous Weekend event (7-8-9th January 2022) ascending from less wins to more wins.

Mythic Light Deck with 21 wins

DECK:
GU_1_3_CDFCDFIChIChBEMBEMCBaCBaHAFHAEHAEBDaICOCBhCBhCDSCDSCEdCEdICkICkCBICBIBEvBEvICbBGPBGPICHICH

There're a lot of Genesis and DO cards with only 1 beeing a Legendary.
The overall cost of the deck is pretty cheap.
The goal of the deck is to swarm the board with small low-cost creatures and pump 'em up with cards like Radiant Dawn giving to all your creatures +1/+2 or Holy Enchanter giving +2 health to all your creatures. Also there're 2 copies of Canonize that give a creature +3/+3 and Protected allowing you to make some favorable trades.

The common problem of Zoo and Aggro decks is running out of gas meaning at some point of a game you might find yourself with much less cards than your opponent limiting your answer potential to the board situation. This particular deck has you covered though! Synergy between cards like Field Nurse, High Thaumaturge and Sern, The Moderator should draw you enough cards to keep up with your opponent if he or she did not deal with those cards.

Mythic Nature deck with 21 wins

DECK:
GU_1_5_CDGHAzIDNCAuCAuHAEHAECATCATCCOCCOIASIDKHAJCBxCBxCAzCAsCArCByCByIDMIDMIDOIDOCDIIDFIDFIARCDN

This deck is all over the place IMHO. Nature decks with good mana curve and big creatures at it's peak usually perform very well at Weekend event. This particular one includes all the current meta Nature cards: 2 Giant Pangolins, 2 Falling Stars, 2 Brazen Moose, 2 Wildfires, 1 Finnian Fruitbearer, 1 Sudden Bloom.
Also in almost all Nature decks the MUST HAVE cards: 2 Canopy barrages, 2 Lightning Strikes

Try to win the board with early low-cost creatures and spells baiting opponents removals. In mid to late game drop your bigger creatures on the board with a spell Sudden Bloom as a finisher or a board clear.

Mythic War deck with 21 wins

DECK:
GU_1_6_BDyBDyBFvBFvCBaHAFHAFHAgCDZICOBGWCDqCDqIDjCBBCBBCAZCAZIDkHAcHAcIAZIDoIDoCCjCACICHCAXCAXCCL

This seems to be a budget version of META Frenzied War deck. The deck lacking few META cards that included only with 1 copy: 1 Another round, 1 Viking Logship, 1 Vicious Rend.

The deck has few ways to acquire relics: 1 Enduring Shield, 2 Blade of Styx, 2 Leviathan Hunter, 1 Valka's Captain.
There're also few payout cards that gets even more value of relics: 1 Sharpen, 2 Warmonger Smith, 1 Carnage Sweep.

Mythic Magic deck with 22 wins

DECK:
GU_1_4_CEpCEpGAVGAVHBPHBPBDrBDrCErCErHAFHAFIBmCBhCBhCANCANCEkCEkIBkIBBIBiIBiCAmCAmIBqIBqCEqCEqIBA

Value generation cards: All-seeing Spire, Miraculous Familiar.
As with the most Magic decks Win conditions are: Monolith of Storms, Oni Spellsword, Wyrmbreath, Demetrios Playwright

Mythic War deck with 22 wins

DECK:
GU_1_6_CDCCDCHAFHAFCDZCDZIAdCDqCDqIDjCBBCBBIDkHAcHAcIDbIDbIDoIDoCACICHICHIDgCETCETCBzIDiCCKCCuIDd

Similar to one with 21 wins above. Notable additions to the deck: Einar the Frozen King, Hector Prince of Troy, Tenderizer.

Mythic Light deck with 22 wins

DECK:
GU_1_3_CDFCDFCBKCBKIChCBNCBNCBaCBaHAFHAFHAEHAECDoCDoICOGBXCBhCBhCEdCEdICkICkBEvICbBGPBGPICHICHCBM

It's actually very surprising to see some Light decks that perform above average at Mythic rank on Weekend event. Because, the Light itself doesn't have a lot of popularity currently.
This deck is similar to one with 21 wins above. Notable additions to the deck: Blind Martyr, Ritual Rod, Olympian Guard, Asterius Glittering One.

THE KING OF BUDGET DECKS

Mythic War deck with 23 wins

DECK:
GU_1_6_CDCCDCHAFHAFCDZCDZCDqCDqIDjIDjCAZCAZIDkHAcHAcIDoIDoIDmCACCACICHICHCAXCAXIDgIDgCCLIDrIDrCCu

Similar to previous War decks above, but IMHO better refined, META War cards included: Oddi Valka’s Herald, Grand Hall, Sole Survivor. The last serving as a finisher or a board wipe.

Closing thoughts

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any budget Deception or Death decks to include in this list.
