Just Sharing my personal list of cards to buy before DO closes out and prices sky rocket.
Armor lurker:
one of the best 2 drops available for decep rn, mostly ur going to trade in 2 creatures leading a hand advantage, great for aggro, midrange, and even control, fits in every decep deck, def buy it.
Patient Pickpocket:
great stats, and insane effect, u can actually win games over this draw from enemy hand, but sometimes u end up drawing a brick, still really great card, its nice to know what ur opponent have, played ond midrange and slower decks( ppl will try to remove him with a 2 mana card, which still nice, trading a 1 mana into a 2 mana is always good right).
Stoneskin poison:
before DO i don't think decep had a decent 1 mana removal, this card is honestly, irreplaceble, in my opinion, the best decep card on this set, u can run this on every decep deck cause of its flexibility, plus fells super good to use with your hidden creatures.
Ludia's Dedicant:
Great value generator (can generate stuff at the same turn its summoned, plus drawing from enemy deck, which is op btw, opponent cant really play around it.) decent stats, only playable on midrange oriented decks but midrange decep is a thing atm.
Shackled Acolyte:
a Turn 2 creature that turns into a 4/4 on 3 turn of your opponent, great card on a midrange oriented deck, its bad against decks that have lots of 2 and 1 mana removal.
Handsome Devil:
6 attack can trade really well at 5 mana or deal a lot of face damage, really decent cheap alternative for shade walkers on aggro oriented decks. (plus art looks cool xd)
Prision escapee:
This card is has love/hate relationship with the community, i don't think this card is great but, if order decep end up getting more stuff this crd can be really great, honestly atm this card can be great, but only in a few situations, can only be played at midrange decks.
Prisioner exchange:
Same as prision escapee, has a lot of potential, can be good with more order cards, atm can't really shine but is decent enough to be played.
Shadow matriarch:
Pretty much self explanatory, summons cats and cats r great, puts a lot of pressure on the board too, aggro decks oriented.
Piercing bolt:
Same as stoneskin, decep had low options on mana 1, now you hav choices, stoneskin is beyond broken op and this card is just worst overall, still a decent card and since decep doenst hav lot a options, buy this.( plus, this card is a tech card, and tech cards fells bad to have, but fell worst if you dont have it, trust me and buy this crap).
Surprise delivery:
Most ppl hate this card, yeah, it fells really bad to play this on midrange decks, fells bad on control, honestly, 6 damage after 2 turns is decent ( decep lacks burn options) and decep being flexible at midrange and aggro oriented decks make this card playable ( plus rapture+ surprise delivery combo is rlly fun), its a cheap alternative for heads or tails on aggro oriented decks.
Cobra scepter:
This is a reaaally personal choice, i think this card has a cute idea, deals 1 damage every turn, but its slower than lethenon ( lethenon can deal 2, 1 from its attack and 1 from its effect.), an alternative for makeshift dagger ( a better choice honestly, since you can get something from sanctum), still, it's a nice alternative and, if mill decep becames a thing, this card will get some use.
Those cards costs literally cents, the most expensive is armor lurker (0.99 cents), decep got a lot of great cards on this set and most of them is really cheap. Hope you guys enjoyed and tks for reading.
