I always prefer the cheapest cards in Splinterlands as long as they provide great value in terms of power. Even if their stats and abilities are not the absolute best I still choose affordable cards because they give me more flexibility when building my deck.
Different rulesets require different strategies and every battle has a different mana cap. That's why it is important to own a wide variety of cards so you always have the right options available.
Today I am going to talk about another monster card that is very affordable but offers excellent power and abilities for its price.
Let's start with ZEBAJIN appearance. This monster has a dragon like shape and is fully equipped with battle armor dress...
It wears a beautiful crown on its head and carries a massive battle axe while releasing magical energy that is ready to unleash an attack on its enemies... Its magical aura perfectly reflects its magic power.
This is a Magic attack monster with 2 Magic damage at Level 4 that means it deals 2 Magic damage every round. One of the biggest advantages of Magic attacks is that they completely ignore Armor and hit the enemy's Health directly.
No matter how much Armor the opposing monster has, Magic attacks bypass it and damage Health instead.
The monster also has 2 Armor which helps protect its Health and 11 Health making it quite durable. With this amount of Health it can usually survive for three to four rounds without much trouble.
It also has 3 Speed, allowing it to attack faster while increasing the chance that enemy attacks will miss.
Another great feature is its 7 Mana cost, making it a solid choice in both low mana and high mana battles. It can fit into many different team compositions and perform well in almost any battle.
At Level 4 this monster unlocks two powerful abilities that make it even more dangerous.
The first ability is Armored Strike. This ability allows the monster to deal extra damage as long as it still has Armor. Since this monster has 2 Armor it can continue dealing that additional damage every round until its Armor is destroyed.
Because of this protecting its Armor is extremely important. The longer its Armor remains intact the longer it can keep benefiting from Armored Strike and deal extra damage to enemy monsters.
The second ability is Last Stand. This ability activates when every other allied monster has been defeated, leaving this monster as the last one on your team.
Once triggered, it gains a 50% bonus to its stats and current Health making it significantly stronger and much harder to eliminate. This allows the monster to become a powerful finisher capable of turning the battle around.
These two abilities work very well together. To get the best performance you should position this monster where it can survive as long as possible and avoid taking unnecessary damage... The longer it stays alive the more value you get from both Armored Strike and Last Stand.
As for the price this monster is an excellent bargain. A Level 1 IT costs only around $0.40 while upgrading it to Level 4 costs only about $4.39 which is very affordable considering the value it provides.
If you don't want to buy it renting is also a great option.
You can usually rent this card for around 1 to 5 DEC per day making it an inexpensive choice for rental players.
Whether you buy or rent it this monster is definitely worth adding to your deck so you can take full advantage of its powerful abilities in battle.
