Nini was on her bed, cuddling her doll when her boyfriend, Taiye’s call came in. They chatted for over a hour and luckily, it wasn’t work period so they could talk till the next day.
They both were talking about the grand opening of Doris, Nini’s friend.
Babe, do you know how I want to look on that day? Nini asked Taiye.
Hmm, I don’t know but I’m sure that whatever you wear, you will surely look stunning and more beautiful than whoever comes there at that night, Taiye said to his girlfriend and the pretty Nina hugged her doll tight when she heard her man say that.
I want to wear a corset gown dress and I want it to be very tight so that it will bring out my shape very well. Also, I think I’d prefer a long gown so it will look more classy, Nini said while Taiye bursts into laughter.
What’s the problem? Why are you laughing? Nini asked Taiye.
It’s not really a problem but I’ve always know you to be someone who loves a dress that is very comfortable but if you decide to wear that dress, you may not feel good nor comfortable till you take it off, Taiye said.
That’s what you feel but I’d surprise you. I’d wear the dress and still feel as comfortable as ever, Nini said but Taiye knows his girlfriend and doesn’t want to give her further warnings because she’s quick to anger and may get angry.
Days were running by and they needed to make more preparations for the grand opening of Dori’s shop. With the set up Doris had told everyone she will be having, they all knew it will be a big party so everyone dressed well.
Nina got back from work one day and was checking for good fashion designers online. Finally, she found someone who makes corset dresses better than the ones she has been seeing before. She dialed the number on the Instagram bio and she called.

Good day ma, I’m delighted to respomd to you from Lucia’s fashion store. How may we help you, ma?
Please, I’d love to make a corset dress and I’d be wearing it in two weeks from now, Nini said to the respondent and she was asked to visit the fashion store.
Nini closed from work on the next day and left for the fashion store. She got there and chose a very good fabric and her measurements were taken. The charges were too high but pretty Nini made sure she paid because she wants to look better than every other lady right there.
Finally, the party day came. Nini got her full make up done already, worr her jewelries did every other thing so Taiye drive her to the fashion store so they can help her wear the dress and they’d go to the venue.
When they got there, Nini sighted her dress on a mannequin from afar. She fell in love with it. Pretty Nini ran towards the mannequin to give it a hug. Taiye liked the dress as well.
They were in a haste already so the stylist took her to the dressing room while Taiye went with her and when it was time to zip up the corset, the problem began.
Nini has never experienced how uncomfortable people who wear this dress feel. The stylist zipped up the dress but Nini couldn’t even breathe because it was too tight.
Is this how other ladies wear it or did you intentionally make this dress too tight? Nini asked the stylist.
*No, ma. This is how other ladies wear it. Corset doesn’t make you feel comfortable but it only makes you look pretty inside of it and gives you a perfect shape. Also, let’s not forget that there is no rose without thorns, the stylist said so.
You know I told you that this dress wouldn’t make you feel comfortable, Taiye said.
Eventually, Nini managed to wear the tight dress and when she got to the venue, she won the best dressed female award and was given some money. Also, she was able to take beautiful pictures just as celebrities take it and the photographer did well to edit the pictures very well.
The pictures became her favorite pictures for years but Nini made sure that she never makes a very tight corset like that again even though she won something with this corset dress.
