Eat that Frog by Brian Tracy book review.

Good evening Fellas ♥️.
It's December and the Chiming Christmas Bells are about to go ding dong💦
It's really nice tho 🙃
December brings a familiar happy mood and I wish you the best of this December as we wrap up with the last chapter of this year.
In my last Post I wrote a little about a book I'm reading which is Eat that Frog by Brian Tracy
Brian Tracy is a great author that write books on personal development and related topics and this Eat that Frog is a book filled with great insights to overcome procrastination and I don't know if you have heard this principle of 21 days for Habit Formation and it so happens that this book also have 21 chapters and because I want to develop my writing habit, I am choosing to write the review of each chapters of the book for the next 21 days.
So help me God 😔
The first chapter of the book EAT THAT FROG: SET THE TABLE.
There are 3Ds of habit formation
Decision, Discipline and Determination
For any personal improvement, you certainly need clarity
For example: the same way A blind man doesn't realize his need for a walking stick unless he knows he is blind is the same way you don't seek solutions when you are ignorant of your problems.
Your level of clarity determines your speed because your goals are more defined and specific.
We also need to be careful of vagueness, fuzzy mindedness and confusion as they enhance Procrastination.
Next in line is the need for you to THINK ON PAPER.
Don't just let your thoughts remain in your head or mind
Write them down, Read them, see them because visibility also brings about Urgency
Let your thoughts be in written form.

Clarity is truly needed in setting goals but the following Seven steps formula has proven to help in the setting and achievements of your goals and this in turn increases your productivity.

STEP 1 : DECIDE EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT You need to decide what results you want so that you can know what steps to take. And if you feel your decision is not efficient enough you can sit with your Boss and discuss what is expected of you and also in what order of Priority.
One of Stephen Covey wise sayings is"Before you begin scrambling up the ladder of success, make sure that it standing against the right building.

STEP 2 : WRITE IT DOWN
When a goal is written it gives it gives it a tangible form. It creates a goal that you can see and not a goal that is void of energy and motivation.

STEP 3: SET A DEADLINE OR SUBDEADLINE ON YOUR GOALS
A goal without a deadline has no urgency. It has no real beginning and no real end. This makes it very easy to procrastinate, there should also be acceptance of specific responsibilities for completion.

STEP 4: MAKE A LIST OF EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF THAT YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DO TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOAL.
Build your list, fill it with activities you know helps you to achieve your goal. Your list gives you a track to run on and a track definitely makes the journey easier.

STEP 5: ORGANIZE THE LIST INTO A PLAN
Organize your list by Priority and sequence. You need to take time to decide what is it you need to do first and what you must do later. Do not just place the less important ones before the most important ones, it drains your energy and also reduces your speed. You can also place them in boxes and connect them to give you a picture of how connected they are and also helps to make it easier.

STEP 6: TAKE ACTIONS ON YOUR PLANS IMMEDIATELY.
Don't relax, Don't fantasize, Don't just look at how organized your schedule is. No matter how organized your schedule is, it makes no difference if you don't take actions.
So the Execution of your plan is what is what brings the difference.

STEP 7: RESOLVE TO DO SOMETHING EVERY SINGLE DAY THAT MOVES YOU TOWARD YOUR MAJOR GOAL.
Build this activity into your daily schedule. If that goal for you might be to read 10-20 pages of a book every day or to learn new vocabulary a foreign language. It might just involve researching on a particular topic.
Just keep it going, Don't miss a day.

Clearly written goals motivate you. They release your energy and stimulate your creativity and easily helps you to overcome procrastination
Goals are the Fuel in the fire of achievement
