Luke, a brave young man with lots of features, skills and a visible destiny had almost all it takes to achieve greatness through the help of his late father.
Luke's father was among the wealthiest people in the country, owning lots of landed properties scattered all around the country.
After the death of Luke's father, he began to experience lots of rejections, accompanied by many defrauding of his father's properties which he does not know anything about it. This happened because, his father had many secrets and scandals while he was alive and most of them were kept hidden from him by his father's lawyer.
According to his father's lawyer, those properties were exchanged for Luke's freedom sold by his father while alive.
While Luke and his mother were mourning their late father/husband, properties were sold real quick by secretaries, lawyers, managers, gatemen and many other persons who had access to his father's different offices.
Shoes
After the burial of Luke's father, he began to bind the extended family together in order to efficiently share his father's properties.
This caused him more harm than good as he was at loss since he doesn't know much about the sold properties.
While the distribution was going on, many of his father's mistresses badged in with their sons and daughters, claiming that his father had a thing with them which brought about a child in his name secretly.
He got pissed off, stopped the distribution and requested for each of their blood samples for test.
This caused him lots of money to carry out and the results were same as claimed by those ladies.
Luke, being the first son of his father peacefully distributed the properties to each kitchen, tried to have a one big family of his father, but that didn't come close to actualization.
As it has been known for ages, he wasn't able to manage the low level kind of life in order to live above the poverty merging.
Luke got soo broke, up to the extent that he had to sell his portion of his father's properties.
He and his mother survived for months, but the iron hands of poverty impacted their lives so greatly.
He began to do apprentice jobs, got settled by his boss to start up his own welding shop.
He did as he was told and was well monitored by his loving mother.
For every of our sacrifices, God has its own way of blessing us.
Luke strived so hard and thrived on solid rough rocks, searched for greener pastures but found none.
This got him frustrated as he appears to be the pillars of the family since his mother was getting very advanced in age.
Frustration
Days turned to months and months to years, Luke is in no position to stand close to his father's legacies. He has no charisma compared to 1/5 of his father. He was hardly mentioned in his father's name because, people felt like his not the true son of his father.
This got him so confined to trying to carry his father's picture which looks like a negative of another man's image.
Fisherman
He ventured into fishing, produced so many fish and aquatic products for many food industries and made a name for himself in a no man's land.
As the year was about to end, he sent letters to his people, hoping to get many replies from them since he has been sending large amount of money to them through other sailors.
He waited for days to get even if it's a single reply, but all to no avail.
On second thought, he reached out to the radio station in a Shout-out Program, sent shout-out to his people and hoped that they would reply him through a letter if they listened to the radio program, still no nothing
Bottle
At this point, it he got it clear that he has nobody over there to get a response from.
Luke, a 64 year man, a man known to be perfect in his field sold all his properties in the foreign land, bought a boat and began to sail home.
Along the line, he lost his way, sailed to an island for shelter and off the water bodies for a while.
Man resting
After two weeks of refreshing himself, he continued his journey back home.
While journeying back home, he noticed lots of changes in the mainland as he got closer to it. There were many lightening and noise, tough and hot air including a darker colour of water.
"Waw. The world has changed much here."
He said as he got closer, hoped to see his people in good health and as well, prosperous.
He got home after guessing the road to his father's compound, was well welcomed and served a good food to eat as the biggest uncle.
While he was enjoying the good meal set before him, his father's family members gathered around him, told stories of all that he had missed and the progress experienced in the family.
At last, the one big perfect family that he fought for years ago came to pass through the help of every member of the family coming together in one accord.
Perfection at last.
