Friday night I left home with some of my business partners, and wanted to travel about 300km, this wasn't actually a trip for a vacation, but I had to buy some items for my business needs and I used this moment to take a walk, takes about 8 hours until I arrive at my destination city
MEDAN is the city I am going to, and it would be illegal to go to Medan without stopping at the most historic icon there, that is MAIMUN PALACE which is the icon of the Medan city quite well known for its history, for more details I will share a little about the history of this palace that I got from Google
Maimun Maimun Palace is the palace of the Sultanate of Deli which is one of the icons of Medan City, North Sumatra. This palace is located at Brigadier General Katamso Street, Aur, Medan Maimun.
Maimun Palace was designed by architect Capt. Theodoor van Erp, a Dutch Royal soldier who was built by order of the Sultan of Deli, Sultan Ma'moen Al Rasyid, the construction of this palace began on August 26, 1888 and was completed on May 18, 1891. Maimun Palace has an area of 2,772 m2 and 30 rooms, Maimun Palace consists of 2 floors and has 3 parts, namely the main building, the left wing building and the right wing building. This palace building faces East and on the front side there is the Al-Mashun Mosque building or better known as the Great Mosque of Medan.
Maimun Palace is a tourist destination not only because of its old age, but also its unique interior design, combining elements of Malay Deli cultural heritage, with Islamic, Spanish, Indian, Dutch and Italian styles, But unfortunately, this tourist spot is not free from the area Street vendors

I did not enter this palace, and was just playing in the courtyard taking some pictures with my beloved daughter, as I said before, this was not a vacation trip, but a trip for business purposes, and I also had to divide my time as much as possible because I have to arrive home again today, and thankfully I have arrived and can greet you all
Maimun Palace is really very beautiful, even though this building is very old, the building is in no way inferior to today's modern buildings, the courtyard is also quite beautiful to look at, I used some camera effects to make my daughter look prettier, and after satisfied taking pictures, I pub headed to the shopping center to find my needs
The streets in this city are very congested, fortunately I invited a friend to drive, otherwise I would have been very overwhelmed, especially on a weekend like this, it's really hard to drive a car

Before arriving at my destination, I stopped at a red light, and spent almost an hour here, just imagine how this traffic jam happens, and this is the first time I feel traffic jams, in my city there is no traffic jam unless there is a natural disaster, a moment this is also used by local residents to sell their wares, I saw a gentleman carrying snacks typical of the area and offering them to anyone who is here, the heat of the sun is not a barrier for him to seek sustenance
A few moments later I arrived at the mall I wanted to go to, here I also took advantage of the time available to have fun with my daughter while walking around looking for what I needed

My daughter looks really enjoying this moment, she is running here and there so happy, she is the first time I brought her to a place like this, in my city there is no mall as big and complete as this, even if I have to go around the entire mall area, maybe it's not one day will be enough, and I just go around the area that has my necessities, and of course don't forget to take pictures at certain angles that are deliberately made for taking pictures

Look at my daughter's sweet smile, all my tiredness was paid off with that beautiful smile on her face, and I didn't even realize that I had been in this mall for a very long time, I had nothing else to think about at that time, I just wanted to enjoy this little happiness. alone with my daughter, while my other friends scattered with their own pleasures
The atmosphere in this mall is also very lively, lots of people go with their families to this place, apart from shopping, this mall also provides a full range of games, restaurants and other things that make it very worth visiting, I myself am really satisfied despite having to drive hundreds of kilometers to this place
