Hello friends! I am back with my weekend experiences here in Hive!

How are you doing? I hope everything is well with you and your family.

Yesterday which is Sunday, I woke up early to run. It is on my new year's resolution to run 5km marathon and I just signed myself up for a free virtual run in the PF Atleta app in celebrating the holy week!

This was supposed to be a march goal yet with the hectic and turn of events, I had to do it this April which is now or never. HAHAHA!

Good thing there are apps that truly track your run and your performance it may be daunting in the actual run but seeing this achievement truly makes me proud.

I was able to run 2k yesterday and it was exhausting! Good thing I am with my mom and after we had our own exercise by which she just walked while I ran, she treated me to Mcdonald's for breakfast.

After our breakfast, we had to go to a grocery store and the market because my mom has been paid to cook for a dish that is why I need to help her. Sadly, I wasn't able to take a photo of the "humba" or the pork recipe that we had in this day.

In the afternoon, because I was so tired, I slept from 1pm to 5pm and right after that, we prepared and dressed up to go to the church because it was Palm Sunday.

Palm Sunday in Catholic is a significant event prior to the Holy Week when Jesus entered Jerusalem before he was crucified.
In this event, lukay or palms that are from the leaves of coconut are blessed by the priest and to be put on each door in households practicing the faith.

Also, in the church, altars are covered in purple cloth prior to the Holy Week as well.

And that's it for my Weekend Experience! I hope you had a fruitful weekend as well friends. Keep safe and thank you very much.
