The water is a bit warm and the pressure is strong. The rocks around the waterfall have natural rings that allow visitors to hold on while the water falls behind them. You will cross the "Chuao" river 23 times in a hike of at least two and a half hours in good direction, to get to "El Chorrerón". You will know you are close when you pass through a fenced tree. Although in the first stage the riverbed looks like a small valley, to get to Chorrerón you have to pass through where the river will cover you at a high level. It is important to enter the forest with guides who know the way. Getting lost can be fatal due to the variety of animals found there. In spite of this, it is good to see strangers entering the unknown forest.

Chuao Chorreron
This waterfall was recently discovered and allows visitors to bathe in its waters and enjoy the natural scenery of the waterfall. To get to Chorrerón, you have to take a ferry from Choroní to Chuao. Already in the city of Chuao you start a journey of about 3 hours following the course of the Middle River, after this you will cross this river and follow the bridge of the Duro River. It is important to note that in most of the river the water level is not high, but there is a part that you have to cross where the water reaches the level of your heart.
It is recommended to do this tour with a guide or someone from the town, since due to the type of vegetation it is easy to get lost if you do not know the area. Likewise, it is better not to do the route during the rainy season because the sea level rises.
