It's a Sunday, you wake up early remembering that you have agreed to make a soup on firewood that day. But there is a detail, the day is cloudy and apart from that a few drops of water are falling and you wonder, is it possible?
We did not hesitate to go out to that friend's house where we would make the soup, as the hours went by the weather seemed to get better, he managed to escape, but the day was still cloudy.
We managed to get to the place where we would make the soup, so, hands to the kitchen.
My friend, to get a head start, had placed the bones and the meat to be tenderized in the kitchen, while my wife and I arrived with the rest of the ingredients, including the seasoning and the vegetables.
After having everything ready, my friend and I decided to set up the firewood outdoors, where we would cook the soup, we looked at the sky and said to ourselves, could it be possible? Will the weather allow us?
Thanks to the fact that my friend had some wood and sticks in a garage, these did not get wet, so we put everything together, struggling to ignite those sticks. At first it would go out a lot, over and over again, but we didn't give up, until it ignited, how fine!!!.
We put the pot on the stove and that was it. We waited for it to cook before it rained.
I have to say, it had been a while since I had set up a fire pit or firewood, but it was fun.
The weather was nice, the soup looked good, so, what else, let's eat!
After a few hours waiting for the soup to be ready, with our stomachs rumbling, the soup was finally served, and let's eat. We all had a good time, we shared, laughed and even played games afterwards.
A pleasant day, my friend reader, which is always needed, for our part we had not eaten soup for a long time, and in firewood even less, thank God, everything was possible.
So if you're thinking of making a wood-fired soup outdoors and the weather doesn't convince you, don't give up!
Thanks for the opportunity until a next one!!!
