Show your city !
That is a great way to show you are proud of the city where you live. I am in love with every part of Rotterdam and I made a lot of blogs about the beautiful lady. But this time I made a vlog. On of my teammates lives in the lady. Today after the soccer game from the boys I had to go to her to deliver a shirt I borrowed last Monday when we had to play in a different color. She plays again tomorrow so on my way to deliver I thought it be cool to make a video.
The Markthal is build 8 years ago. On a place in teh city centre where the week market is on Saturday. Every rotterdammer knows the hal. We call her the lady and fun fact is that she as opened by our own queen , lady majesty Maxima.
I started the video when I entered the stairway up, but in the parking lot underground there is a lot of archeology. When you go up the escalators you see in display cases everything that was found during the digging of the garage. A fun old fact under teh roof where paintings the here and now show.
The Markthal is a apartment building aswell and my teammate lives in the apartment and in the ceiling art it’s in the shrimp. It’s the shrimp on the ceiling. To the right in the video. The last meetup from hive I did was with @ Soyrosa we had lunch in one of the restaurants in the lady. Fun and very nice. I hope you get an idea why this beautiful icon is and how great the architecture is.
