Hello everyone!
It's a fun weekend for me today as I attended the wedding ceremony of a colleague's daughter. It's been a long time I attended a wedding so, I was so happy to attend. The ceremony was slated for two days. The traditional wedding was yesterday evening while the church wedding and reception took place today.
I couldn't attend the traditional wedding yesterday because I had to put some things in place for my family as I would be attending the party today. My friend told me how interesting the traditional wedding was. Because the couple were from different states. So it was a ceremony of two cultures.
I got there and met some of my friends and colleagues. People came from a long distance just to grace the occasion. The decorations were beautiful. The couple looked lovely in white. I started chatting with my friends. Food and drinks were brought and we eat and drank to our satisfaction
We had to discuss a lot of things and some life lessons and challenges. The economy and food prices. It was a good day for all of us to engage in such a meaningful conversation about life.
A friend of mine, that we were together today is also inviting me for the burial ceremony of her grandmother next month. I was pleased to accept the invitation because I will be very free next month and parting will not be a bad idea.
This outing was so much fun for me. I am so happy that I could make it.
