Today is my first time participating in the Leo Power Up Day after 5 months of being active in Hive Blockchain.

I felt thrilled and excited that I was able to join the community of incredible Lions and stake my LEO tokens.

I heard about LPUD initially from @ifarmgirl three months ago when I joined Hive Power Up Day for the first time with her help. She informed me that the power-up day occurs on the fifteenth of each month.

I only had 10 Leos, which I had earned and won from community contests during those moments. Thus the tokens were insufficient because I required 150 Leo tokens. She said I could purchase Leos in the market, but I had no idea how to accomplish that.

Until such time that @lhes added me to the Saturday Savers group in discord the other day. Her invitation to Saturday Savers and encouragement to participate in Leo Power Up Day is highly appreciated.

LPUD

With the help of a fantastic friend, @tengolotodo, I accumulated Leos and traded my Hive. I was able to buy 150 tokens plus the traded five hive tokens from @jonalyn2020.

I powered up 169 LEO tokens for the first time.

Perhaps powering Up is essential for any community's development for more strength. Since I support Leo Finance, I'd love to participate in the first Leo Power Up Day of 2023.

Finally, I am taking part in the Leo Power Up Day and my participation in the Saturday Savers Club.

Before power up, I got 169.411 LEO tokens.

Previously I had a total of 169.411 LEO. For my first LPUD, I staked 169 Leo tokens.

365 Daily Saving Challenge

I then started my Daily Savings Challenge yesterday. To fill in the gaps, I saved 1.05 HBD and 1.05 Hive.

So that I will have the exact numbers in my HBD and Hive Savings, I have withdrawn the remaining HBDs earned last year and traded in the Market.

Since I started on day 14, I have to deposit 1.05, so I left 1.05 dollars and 1.05 Hive in my savings.

So on the 15th day, I have deposited 0.15 making it 1.20 Hive and 1.20 HBD.

Every day I am adding up 0.01 according to the date. On the 16th day, 0.16. On the 17th day, 0.17, and so forth until the 365th day, that is 3.65 worth of HBD and Hive on my savings.

All in all, it is expected that I will earn 667.95 Hive and 667.95 HBD at the end of the year. Indeed the first-day save of 0.01 up to 3.65 will be worth it.

Daily PUM Challenge and Monthly LPUD

Aside from saving, I have consistently powered up or staked Hive daily through the Power Up Month. And I felt happy to receive a powerful delegation from HiveBuzz.

I was able to stake 2,024.201 HP. I hope I could fulfill my 365 Challenge of powering Up at least 1 Hive per day and powering up at least 150 LEO tokens monthly.

Hive and LEO Goals

My goal for 2023 is to increase my HP, LP, Hive savings, and HBD Savings every month. And one of the things I need to improve is commitment and consistency to reach my goal. I intend to enhance everything related to Leofinance.

Moreover, I also wish to do more on curation, content creation, and engagement with everyone in Hive. And I hope to add 150 tokens or more monthly and join the Leo Power Up Day.
