Hello Hive Community! For those who haven't heard of GIFU yet, I'll reiterate some points I wrote about it.

What's GIFU?

GIFU is a meme coin that was created on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). It's not just a meme token though, it has utility in the form of creating GIFs to promoting projects. It already has several collaborations with the BBH Project, Splinterlands and Rising Star.

Burning Mechanism

The token follows a burning mechanism which will increase scarcity over time. Recent posts indicate that around 5% of GIFU has been burned. Theoretically, this would reduce supply to potentially increase value over time.

Project Transparency

GIFU dev Hive account@raymondspeaks, who is also behind the Hive account@brofi project is noted to be doxed, providing a level of transparency and trust compared to anonymous projects. Other Hivers involved in the project are Hive account@cryptoeater, Hive account@epic-fail, Hive account@trumpman and Hive account@stickupboys.

Delegation and Rewards

This started a few days ago. You can now delegate HP to Hive account@gifufaithful to earn GIFU tokens daily. Also, holders 50k tokens or more can get curation in the form of votes on posts with 200 words or more. The more tokens held, the more % of votes. On the other hand, votes are not guaranteed.
