The crazy thing is that I'm Canadian, my last name is Bird, my grandmother has a Royal Conservancy nature preserve named after her because of her work with birds (which I often helped with), and I had never heard of a gyrfalcon before right now.
My shame runs deep. I am going to keep my hawkeye open for that 8 dollar coin to cleanse myself.
