I am so lucky to see Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo play football because these two was one the reason why I fall in love with football completely and even though I am always a lover of football the competition between these two players was outstanding and because of this competition the balloon d or was between for 10 good years. The competition makes them better and pushes them to the limit.
Competition with others is often seen as something bad but we see the one between Ronaldo and Messi and most fans enjoyed it because they did the impossible in their prime. Competition can be good and it can be bad but they always depend on oneself because we are those that will compete with you and it will bring out the best of them but we those that this burden does not help at all because it does let them concentrate.
Some people use competition to set standards for themselves but what happened with standards is that some are reasonable and some are not. Reasonable standards are the ones you achieve even though is not easy you know is something you can do but unreasonable are the ones you can never achieve for so many reasons you do not accept this and in the end, it destroys your happiness.
The truth is competition will make you achieve things but if you don't accept your limit even after achieving what an average person will not achieve throughout your lifetime you will still feel you have not done anything when you can't meet the impossible standard you set for yourself by copying another person's achievement it makes you feel you are not enough and not done enough.
This is the main reason why people compete with themself alone and set the standard for themselves based on their ability and not on anybody's success or trying to take another person's position in life because this gives them relief and quenches their hunger for success.
Always will it be
Life is always about survival and we have always been competing with each other to survive. Competition is a natural thing because we have those who are working tirelessly to be in the position you are in and take your job but you compete with yourself every day to get better and retain it. How we compete and who we compete with matters and most importantly are good at competition and know ourselves.
