The countdown for 2025 continues. We are almost there! The year continues to go at a rapid pace.

And by that, I mean hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My goal this year was 35k Hive. And I made it! So now onto my stretch goal of 40k.

Last week I made 541.64. Well.. “made”. Most of that was bought with fiat. At any rate, it brings me to 36,699.780 total Hive Power. That’s 91.7% of my stretch goal!

Math time. 40k - 36,699.780 gives us 3300.22. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 45.8 Hive needed per day to reach 40k by that point. Is that realistic? I don’t know. From organic growth alone—no. But if I keep buying Hive—maybe. We’ll see, I guess.

All of these are about normal. I’m getting pretty close on PIMP. I was going to just buy the rest, but now that I’ve decided to try to hit my HP stretch goal, I am just going to see where organic growth gets me.

Silver had just a fantastic week! Let’s see where it goes from here. I hope for more of the same.

Wow, isn’t that cool? Seems like it was made for last year, but the image is very fitting for next year, as 2025 is the year of the snake.
