How does your earnings from Hive compare with that of YouTubers? Let's check it out!

Most of us are in Hive to earn some money from blogging.

Let me offer some information from the Social Blade website to give you an indication of how profitable are YouTubers.

Certainly, YouTube videos are different from blog posts. Nevertheless, I provide these numbers for fellow Hivers to get a sense of the difference in profitability.

Social Blade provides an estimation of YouTubers' earnings. Just key in their account name, hit enter and you will be able to get some numbers.

Let's go.

Coin Bureau, with its current subscription of 2.13 M users yields USD 850 of revenue per day. You can check out the details here.

USD 850 per day is pretty profitable, in my opinion. But it takes 2.13 M subscribers! That is pretty hard to achieve, to begin with. Efforts needed to build the channel are high, judging from the high-quality videos made by Coin Bureau.

Next, we make a comparison between YouTubers with differing subscriptions. Source here

Benjamin Cowen's account with 769K subscribers makes about USD 202 per day.

Another smaller account, Faares Q has 108K subscribers and he makes USD 16 per day.

Based on this, we know that reaching at least 100K subscribers takes tremendous effort, but the starting pay is about a mere USD 16 per day when one starts to reach 100K.

Hmm...

USD 16 is about 32 Hive, by the current price.

I don't make 32 Hive per day through my Hive posts, so I don't know how that feels.

Let's pick someone with a modest number of subscribers. Crypto Nate has 2.9K subscribers and makes USD 2 per day.

That would be about 4 Hives per day. That is something easily reachable for a serious enough Hiver. I have achieved it before, so I know.

If we equate that to accumulating 2.9K subscribers on YouTube, I personally feel that Hive is way easier. I have barely less than 100 subscribers then, and I know 4 Hive per day is not dependent on subscribers.

I have laid the numbers. You study it and let me know what you think!
