The story revolves around a group of people who decide to voluntarily play a series of mysterious children's games that will bring deadly consequences for those who lose, all these bizarre games have behind them a juicy reward of 45,000 million won for the one who manages to win them all, in addition, their prize that increases as the other participants die so it is a factor that will lead to conflicts between the survivors.

La construcción de mundo es desarrollada de forma lenta pues pretende darle información a cuenta gotas al espectador, esto es interesante puesto que le proporciona lo suficiente como para que se pueda especular con los pocos datos dados. La organización que se encuentra detrás de todo también es un enigma en un primer momento puesto que se busca ir esclareciendo sus motivos de forma paulatina para mantener ese aire de misterio e intriga.
The plot is extremely interesting because despite having a simple concept it manages to be attractive from beginning to end, it achieves its mission of being extremely raw and grotesque. As I mentioned previously everything is wrapped in a ring of mystery but everything is so well structured that without much information it is already known that everything will be darker than it appears, coupled with this is the fact that the audacity is taken to use different turns of Turkish, they are used intelligently and the revelations can be predicted thanks to the clues that are given being a test more than how well thought out it is.
La trama es sumamente interesante puesto que pese a tener un concepto simple logra ser atrayente de principio a fin, logra su cometido de ser extremadamente cruda y grotesca. Como mencione previamente todo se encuentra envuelto en un aro de misterio pero todo está tan bien estructurado que sin mucha información ya se sabe que todo será más sombrío de lo que se aparenta, aunado a ello está el hecho de que se toma el atrevimiento de emplear diferentes giros de turca, son usados de forma inteligente y las revelaciones pueden ser predichas gracias a las pistas que se van dando siendo una prueba más de lo bien pensada que esta.
The characters are inconsequential since the characterization they present is null. The protagonist is the best example of this since although he has a plausible motivation he is the typical character who only defines his idiocy, morality and good luck, being quite generic and expected things of a protagonist. The rest of the characters are predictable, boring, cannon fodder and mostly strangers.
Los personajes son intrascendentes puesto que la caracterización que presentan es nula. El protagonista es el mejor ejemplo de esto puesto que si bien tiene una motivación plausible es el típico personaje que solo lo define su idiotez, moralidad y buena suerte, siendo cosas bastante genéricas y esperables de un protagonista. El resto de personajes son predecibles, aburridos, carne de cañón y mayormente unos desconocidos.
Squid game is a series that raises interesting concepts and others not so much, makes good use of mystery to keep the viewer interested. All this makes it worthy of a rating of 4,5 stars out of 7, it makes excellent use of the concept of What would you be willing to do for money?
Squid game es una serie que plantea conceptos interesantes y otros no tanto, hace buen uso del misterio para mantener interesado al espectador. Todo ello la hace merecedora de una calificación de 4,5 estrellas de 7, hace un excelente uso del concepto de ¿Que estarías dispuesto a hacer por dinero?
