Welcome dear internet travelers and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, I have rarely touched on the subject of something that is of my preference but today we will change that since I will talk about my favorite action movie, by the title you will already know which one I mean but I admit that I was undecided about which of the 3 installments I liked the most and that is that the saga of "The Expendables" is excellent in each of its deliveries. Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, pocas veces he tocado el tema de algo que sea de mi preferencia pero hoy cambiaremos eso puesto que hablaré de mi película de acción favorita, por el título ya sabrán a cuál me refiero pero les admito que estaba indeciso de cuál de las 3 entregas me gustaba más y es que la saga de los “The Expendables” es excelente en cada una de sus entregar. Sin más que agregar recarguen sus armas y prepárense para la acción pues estamos por comenzar.
The Expendables 3 was released in 2014, directed by Patrick Hughes and produced by Millennium Films, it has a duration of 2 hours and 6 minutes. It is a film that is full of action and shots like any good Stallone movie, the story, like its prequels, revolves around Barney Ross, his friend Lee Christmas and the rest of the members of The Expendables, who during one of their missions they run into Stonebanks who is a former member of the team who was presumed dead. It turns out that he dedicated himself to the illegal sale of weapons, the bad guy can think of nothing better than hurting one of the current members, so logically they must take revenge and obtain justice for his friend.

Es una cinta que está plagada de acción y disparos como toda buena película de Stallone, la historia al igual que sus precuelas gira entorno a Barney Ross su amigo Lee Christmas y el resto de integrantes de los The Expendables, quienes durante una de sus misiones se topan con Stonebanks quien es un ex miembro del equipo que se presumía muerto. Resulta que se dedicó a la venta ilegal de armas, al malviviente no se le ocurre nada mejor que herir a uno de los miembros actuales por lo que lógicamente deberán vengarse y obtener justicia para su amigo.

Before starting with the review I will talk a little about why it is my favorite action saga and for this I have 2 very simple reasons: The first is because 90% of the film consists of shots, blood and death, which is simply wonderful; the second is because the films are starring actors who were mostly dedicated to action movies and who starred in classic gems of the genre such as Rambo, Terminator 2, The Transporter, Invasion U.S.A, Die Hard, among others; being its protagonists actors like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Statham, among others, together with the great actors that I just mentioned, each of the films in the saga usually includes more icons of the genre such as Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris or Jean- Claude Van Damme. It was difficult to choose just one of these films to review but I can say that the third installment is the one with the most unbridled action and that is the reason why I chose it; apart from my obvious liking for the trilogy, it is time to be impartial to continue with the review.
Antes de empezar con la reseña hablare un poco sobre porque es mi saga de acción favorita y para ello tengo 2 razones muy sencillas: La primera es porque el 90% de la cinta consta de tiros, sangre y muerte lo que es sencillamente maravilloso; la segunda es porque las películas están protagonizadas por actores que se dedicaron mayormente a las películas de acción y que protagonizaron joyas clásicas del género como Rambo, Terminator 2, The Transporter, Invasion U.S.A, Die Hard, entre otros; siendo sus protagonistas actores como Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Statham, entre otros, aunado a los grandes actores que acabo de mencionar cada una de las películas de la saga suele incluir a más iconos del género como Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris o Jean-Claude Van Damme. Fue difícil escoger solo una película de estas para hacer la reseña pero puedo decir que la tercera entrega es la que posee mayor acción desenfrenada y ese es el motivo por el que la elegí; fuera de mi obvio gusto por la trilogía es el momento de ser imparcial para continuar con la reseña.

Es una película de acción hecha al estilo de la vieja escuela por lo que esperar que los personajes sean profundos o que tengan alguna clase de desarrollo sería absurdo, la gran mayoría son hombres fuertes y rudos que tienen el único objetivo de asesinar a cuanto fulano puedan valiéndose de toda clase de armas, cuchillos o sus propios puños. La cinta se limita solo a darnos sus nombres por lo que yo haré lo mismo: Barney Ross el líder del equipo, Lee Christmas experto en cuchillos, Gunner Jensen el loco del grupo, Toll Road experto en demolición, y Hale Caesar experto en armas pesadas.
The soundtrack is as rough and epic as the film needs, it is designed so that the viewer is prepared for all the excellent action that the film has.
La banda sonora es todo lo ruda y épica que necesita la cinta, se encuentra pensada para que el espectador esté preparado para toda la acción excelente que posee la cinta.
The construction of the world is reduced to vaguely showing some places in different countries in which the conflict takes place, it is never given more importance since they are only the place where the shots and deaths take place.
La construcción de mundo se reduce a mostrar vagamente algunos lugares de diferentes países en los cuales se desarrolla el conflicto, nunca se le da mayor importancia puesto que solo son el sitio donde suceden los disparos y las muertes.
The plot can be defined with 3 simple words: Shots, deaths and blood, it is a film that only aims to have unbridled action in the purest style of old action movies; there is nothing complex or any kind of background, just raw violence. In addition, it incorporates in a very excellent way some new technologies and characters to keep the formula fresh and differentiate itself from its predecessors.
La trama se puede definir con 3 sencillas palabras: Disparos, muertes y sangre, es una película que solo pretende tener acción desenfrenada al más puro estilo de las películas antiguas de acción; no hay nada complejo ni alguna clase de trasfondo, solo violencia pura y dura. Además, incorpora de manera muy excelente algunos nuevas tecnologías y personajes para mantener fresca la formula y diferenciarse de sus predecesoras.
The characters are the typical prototype that the protagonists of the old action movies had, muscular and masculine men who are very capable of ending a man's life in many ways. Other than that, they are strangers about whom very little information is known and despite that, the feeling of brotherhood that they manage to profess is simply wonderful.
Los personajes son el típico prototipo que tenían los protagonistas de las viejas películas de acción, hombres musculosos y masculinos que se encuentran muy capacitados para acabar de muchas formas con la vida de un hombre. Fuera de ello son unos desconocidos de los cuales se conocen muy pocos datos y pese a eso el sentimiento de hermandad que logran profesar es sencillamente maravilloso.
The Expendables 3 is an action movie that from the start only raises conflict and constant disputes, it can be basic by only presenting unbridled confrontations but that is its main attraction. Due to the aforementioned, it deserves a rating of 3,5 stars out of 7, it is a simple concept that turns out to have unbridled action at every possible moment and that adheres to the classic concept of the genre.
The Expendables 3 es una película de acción que desde el vamos solo plantea conflicto y disputas constantes, puede resultar básica al solo presentar enfrentamientos desenfrenados pero es ese su principal atractivo. Por lo anterior mencionado es que merece una calificación de 3,5 estrellas de 7, es un concepto sencillo que resulta tener acción desenfrenada en cada momento que puede y que se apega al concepto clásico que se tenía del género.
